1. ==> Live from New York – Trump Addresses UN

Heads of state, including Donald Trump, are scheduled
to begin addressing the UN General Assembly Today.
Tomorrow, with the U.S. as the rotating president of
the UN Security Council this month, Trump is
scheduled to chair a meeting of the Council. Invite
John Paul, author of the new book “Of Foxes and
Chickens: Oligarchy and Power in the UN Security
Council” to discuss what is expected to go on. “The
biggest question will be whether Trump will use the
opportunity to announce new sanctions or even military
operations against Iran. Rumor has it that Washington
is pressing NATO and other allies to join
it, Israel and Saudi Arabia in a coalition of the
willing to overthrow the perfidious mullahs and restore
democracy to Iran.” He adds, “For Trump in particular,
it is a chance to reach for global
grandiosity, to rail against foreign enemies, to
‘disrupt’ the status quo and to bask in the limelight
of the frenzied news media.” John Paul is also author
of “Syria Unmasked” and was executive director
of Global Policy Forum, a think tank that monitors the
UN, for nearly 20 years. He was a longtime editor of
the Oxford Companion to Politics of the World and
executive director of the Middle East Research
and Information Project. Contact him at
james.paul.nyc@gmail.com

2. ==> Lock Up Cosby & Throw Away Celebrity Role Models

Bill Cosby’s sentencing hearing began yesterday and
we’re once again forced to watch a hero’s very public
fall from grace. Regardless of Cosby’s legal sentence,
John Huber, Ph.D., says millions who grew up
watching The Cosby Show thinking of Bill Cosby as a
pseudo-surrogate father – will feel shock and betrayal
again. “These days it seems to happen far too often
that beloved personas and role models are
revealed to have reprehensible skeletons in their
closets. Who is really who they say they are? Can
anyone be trusted to set the right example?” The
lesson, Huber says, is “Children and adults don’t have
to turn on the TV to find an adequate role model and
they don’t have to search far and wide. They just have
to live their lives with honor and integrity and they
will become a role model unto themselves.”
Dr. John Huber is a clinical forensic psychologist and
the chairman for Mainstream Mental Health, a non-profit
mental health organization. Dr. Huber has appeared on
hundreds of radio shows and dozens of
national television programs. Contact Ryan McCormick at
(516) 901-1103; (919) 377-1200.

3. ==> Why Women Don’t Report Sexual Assault

Many people believe as Donald Trump does, that victims
of sexual assault or their parents would surely report
such incidents to the police. That’s just one of the
myths surrounding sexual assault that Dr.
Jeanne Sanner can bust at a time when the country’s
attention is riveted to the confirmation hearing for
Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh. When she was 19
and a virgin, Dr. Sanner was raped by a
stranger poolside at an out-of-town motel where she was
staying with a girlfriend. She’ll explain her reasons
for not reporting the crime which led to pregnancy and
reveal the most important lesson she
learned from being sexually abused. Dr. Sanner has a
doctorate in spiritual studies, a master’s in education
and a bachelor’s in psychology. She is the author of
“Finding Unconditional Love a Little Peace
at a Time.” Reach her at (949) 460-9450;
jeannesanner@yahoo.com

4. ==> Is Trump’s Robust Economy All ‘Smoke and
Mirrors’?

President Donald Trump says we have “the best economy
ever!” Professor Kenneth Barnes begs to differ. Author
of “Redeeming Capitalism”, Barnes refers to our current
economic system as ‘postmodern
capitalism’, and argues that we have created a system
devoid of a moral compass and resistant, if not
impervious to ethical constraint. “Built on mountains
of debt and driven by greed and excess, we are
repeating the sins of the recent past,” he claims.
Rejecting utopian alternatives, however, Dr. Barnes
argues instead for ‘virtuous capitalism’- an economic
system with all of the wealth-generating
possibilities of the capitalism, plus the wider social
benefits of the capitalism we desire. Prior to his
academic career, Kenneth Barnes spent many years as a
senior international executive for multiple
multibillion dollar companies. He currently teaches at
Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. Contact Jason
Jones at (512) 720-2996; Jason@jonesliterary.com

5. ==> What You Don’t Know about Prince in the
Recording Studio: Told by Those Who Knew Him Best

The wait is over for Prince fans eagerly awaiting his
new album, ‘Piano & A Microphone 1983.’ The previously
unreleased material is finally available and contains
nine songs including a new version of
“Purple Rain,” “Strange Relationship” and a cover of
Joni Mitchell’s “A Case of You.” Award winning author
Duane Tudahl interviewed more than 40 band members,
singers, and engineers chronicling Prince’s
time in the studio during 1983 and 1984. He’ll share an
intimate look at Prince Rogers Nelson as told by those
admitted into his fiercely private inner circle. From
the recording studio to his days on
tour, you’ll learn why Prince was so protective of his
material, how his music reflected his innermost
thoughts and emotions, and the 3 very important keys to
Prince’s incredible success. Duane Tudahl is a
long-time documentary director and producer in the
entertainment industry and a former stand-up comic. An
expanded paperback version of his best-selling book,
“Prince and the Purple Rain Era Studio
Sessions: 1983 and 1984,” which includes details about
hundreds of his recording sessions, is set for release
in this fall. Contact him at (818) 726-8638 (CA);

6. ==> Real Life Russian Spy Story

With the news this year of Sergei Skripal’s poisoning
in Salisbury, England, as revenge for spying for the
West, as well as the ongoing revelations about Russia’s
interference in democratic elections here
and abroad, invite historian Roland Philipps to share a
real life Russian spy story from 1951. You’ll hear
about British diplomat turned Russian spy Donald
Maclean, one of the most notorious spies ever
discovered in the British government. Maclean was a
member of the infamous “Cambridge Five” espionage ring,
a group of young ideologues who believed Communism was
the only path to world peace. While a
respected diplomat at the head of the American
Department in Britain’s Foreign Office he was also
transmitting diplomatic and military secrets to the
USSR. Roland Philipps is the grandson of Sir Roger
Makins – a British Foreign Officer and the last person
to see Maclean before he fled to the Soviet Union. “A
Spy Named Orpha: The Enigma of Donald Maclean” is his
new book. Contact Johanna Ramos-Boyer at
(703) 646-5137; johanna@jrbcomm.com or Erin Bolden at
(703) 646-5188.

7. ==> Getting Back to Business after a Hurricane

Hurricane Florence not only destroyed homes throughout
the Carolinas, it also battered thousands of businesses
in the region. Donna Childs, a former reinsurance
executive, can explain what businesses now
face after the massive storm, where they can turn for
help, and how business owners, just like home owners,
should plan for disasters. Donna’s been honored by the
American Red Cross for her volunteer work
helping small businesses in the Gulf Coast states
recover from Hurricanes Katrina, Gustav and Ike. She’s
dealt with disasters around the world and at Ground
Zero, where her business and home were based on
9/11. Donna has appeared on local and national radio
and TV programs and is the author of “Prepare for the
Worst, Plan for the Best: Disaster Preparedness and
Recovery for Small Businesses,” Contact her at

8. ==> How to Grow Your Business Without Working on
Your Business

Are you working hard? Or working smart? Growing a
business can feel like a daunting task. What most
people don’t realize is that they aren’t focusing on
what will yield long-term success. It’s not what you
say or how you present. It’s not what you look like,
what you wear or your posture. The most critical
success factor you bring to the table is the inner
VALUE you represent. Founder of ThroughConversation
Personal Development Inc., Jean-Paul Gravel will
provide insight on how people perceive your real
“value”. Your audience will learn practical tools for
how to raise their value in the eyes of everyone
around them. He’ll take them through 3 simple steps
which will completely raise their confidence,
conviction and persuasiveness. Gravel has spent 15
years showing people from all walks of life including
high achievers, entrepreneurs and pro athletes how to
unlock their own deep-seated power and potential to
experience extraordinary results in business and life.

9. ==> How to Sell Your Story or Idea to Hollywood

Do you have an idea for a story that you’ve always
thought would be perfect for television? Well now you
can find out! Invite award-winning screenwriter,
author, TV/film producer, journalist, and TV host
Maryann Ridini Spencer to reveal what it takes to write
a great screenplay that audiences will love. She’ll
explain what resonates with audiences and whether the
story you’ve always dreamt of writing would
make the cut with a major TV network. As a master of
storytelling from her award-winning novel “Lady in the
Window” to her top-rated Hallmark Hall of Fame (CBS-TV)
movie The Lost Valentine starring Betty
White and Jennifer Love Hewitt, she knows how to craft
a story that audiences will love. Her work has also
appeared on the Hallmark Channel, CNN, USA, SyFy,
Showtime, PBS, and many others. Her next novel,
“The Paradise Table,” is set to be released in early
2019. Contact her at (818) 884-0104 (CA);

10. ==> Confessions of a Badass Widow

After the death of her long-time husband and business
partner, Katherine Webster faced financial ruin,
loneliness, trauma and many other overwhelming
challenges. But, she says, she made a choice and
learned the lesson of a lifetime; a life lived without
danger is meaningless. “I turned my awful circumstances
into a situation where I became more vibrant, fearless,
confident, successful… and younger!”
Katherine will share three key questions that can help
redefine life after a tragedy: “Who am I now? What
weaknesses are holding me back, and how can I conquer
them? How can I reinvent myself to be who I
truly choose to be?” She’ll also share simple yet
powerful tools for rebuilding your life and becoming
more youthful and passionate about living after the
death of a spouse, or virtually any personal
tragedy. “Personal tragedy allows you the luxury most
other people will never have: an opportunity to enjoy
the self-indulgent business of completely re-inventing
yourself as whatever or whomever you
choose to be.” She is the author of “Becoming Madam
Widow.” Contact her at katherine@katherinewebster.com
or (289) 296-6362.

11. ==> How to Get the Best Medical Care: When Should
You Get a 2nd Opinion?

Are you really getting the best medical care? We like
to believe that when we’re being treated by a physician
or medical team that they know all the answers related
to our illness and treatment. But Nancy
Michaels, a patient satisfaction expert says patients
can no longer rely on the pros alone. “As consumers, we
need to claim control over our health and be sure we
understand what all of our options are
related to diagnosis and recommended treatment,” she
warns. Michaels, who regularly speaks to medical and
health-care audiences about ways to improve patient
satisfaction, engagement and the overall
patient experience, also delivers advice gleaned from
her own personal experience as a patient. In 2005, in
what seemed like an instant, she found herself in a
health crisis that nearly killed her twice.
She’ll explain what every patient should know when
seeking medical treatment including when—and how—to get
a 2nd opinion, how to research your condition and how
to access your doctor’s notes in your files.
Nancy Michaels provides inspirational speeches on such
topics as “Lessons Learned from Dying” to audiences
around the world. Her latest book is “Patient Speak, 7
Communication Practices to Improve Patient
and Family Experience.” Contact her at (617) 905-4711;

12. ==> TMI? When Artists Share Health Issues

Whether it’s Demi Lovato and addiction, Michael J. Fox
talking about Parkinson’s Disease or Selena Gomez
discussing Lupus, celebrities these days seem very
willing to publicly discuss their health issues.
Lisa Sniderman (Aoede), a pop singer/songwriter
herself, applauds their honesty and using their
notoriety to help educate and raise awareness about
chronic illness. She says sharing your journey is
powerful—and healing–for you and others who are
struggling. Lisa, who battles a rare, auto-immune
disease, has collaborated with more than 50 artists,
musicians, and authors who have turned to creativity
to heal to create a multimedia live/streaming event
‘Lights in the Darkness-Creating to Heal’ this
December. Lisa says, “My vision is to share how we’ve
become lights for others through our stories and
art, focused on the art of healing.” Lisa has been
honored with more than 50 awards and has been
considered multiple times for a GRAMMY. She is the
author of “A Light in the Darkness: Transcending
Chronic
Illness through the Power of Art and Attitude.” Contact
her at (415) 713-6193; aoede_muse@yahoo.com

13. ==> It’s Pain Awareness Month: Are You Starting to
Make Dad Sounds?

Oy! Do you find yourself making the same noises your
parents make when they get up from a chair or sit down?
If this sounds like you—or someone you know—you’ll want
to interview Anna Lee, M.D., a board-
certified pain management physician. During Pain
Awareness Month in September, Dr. Lee can answer such
questions as why are so many people walking around in
pain? Why do we sometimes wake up with numb
hands? Where does pain really originate? Why are so
many physicians so bad at treating pain? Anna Lee,
M.D., trained at Hahnemann and the University of
Pennsylvania and is the developer of an FDA-approved
pain treatment that draws clients from across the
country. Reach her at (201) 925-0315;
drlee1@optimum.net

14. ==> How Being Disorganized Can Endanger Your Life

We have all heard how you can save money, time,
property and possessions by being more organized. But
wise vs. lackluster organization habits can even save
your life! That’s the message of RN/APRN (nurse
practitioner) and author Anne McAwley-LeDuc, who is
creating a new movement for maintaining personal health
history — a life-saving practice! With the release of
her critically acclaimed workbook
“Personal Health Organizer: Record Your Medical and
Dental History, Birth Through Life,” Anne is helping
people keep their health records, including: medical
conditions, surgeries, childhood health
history, orthopedic history, immunizations, allergies,
dental procedures and much more. After all, it’s really
easy to forget key health facts, to your peril,
especially with our busy lives that often
involve travel, moving, and establishing relationships
with new doctors/clinics/hospitals. Invite Anne to
discuss her strategies for staying “in the know” about
your health journey. Contact her at (860)

15. ==> Simple Remedies for Burnout and Compassion
Fatigue

Being a caregiver, whether professionally or within
your family, is a hazardous job currently held by some
43.5 million Americans. Sheila Collins, Ph.D., says the
stress not only puts caregivers at risk
for serious health problems, they’re also at risk for
burnout and compassion fatigue. “Self-care continues to
be all but neglected in the professional programs that
train people in helping careers and is
an essential skill for caregivers to master for their
own health.” Collins can explain why caregiving is so
dangerous, what healthy anger is and how to express it,
as well as some interesting trends in
caregiving. Collins and Christine Gautreaux, MSW, are
co-authors of “Stillpoint: A Self-Care Playbook for
Caregivers to Find Ease and Time to Breathe, and
Reclaim Joy.” Collins’ other books include
“Warrior Mother: Fierce Love, Unbearable Loss, and the
Rituals that Heal,” about her experience of providing
caregiving to her two adult children and her best
friend. Contact Sheila Collins at (817)
706-4967; sheilacollins@yahoo.com

16. ==> Stop Blaming Social Media for Kids’ Depression

Social media has a firm hold on Americans, especially
kids and young adults. With rising rates of depression
and suicide among the same group, many wonder if
there’s a connection. Joffre McClung says there
is, but it’s not really the root of the problem. “The
issue isn’t so much the social media itself, it’s that
young people are constantly looking outside of
themselves for their worth, value and sense of
being good enough.” She’ll explain the many ways lack
of self-love affects our lives and share concrete ways
to take your power back from social media. You’ll hear
how parents can help kids develop their
own sense of self-love and why you should incorporate
five simple self-gratitude practices into your daily
life. Joffre McClung has appeared on numerous radio and
TV programs including CBS TV-Austin TX,
Hay House Radio and The Joe Franklin Show. A former
media producer, independent filmmaker, and author,
Joffre takes the esoteric and brings it back down to
earth with a big dose of common sense. Her latest
book is “The Heart of the Matter.” Contact her at (917)

17. ==> Why Kids Who Hate School Are Often Smarter than
Everyone Else

You would think that the students in school who are
making the highest grades would be the ones who love
learning the most. “Not so!” says Lee Jenkins, author
and former school administrator. “Those
students have figured out it’s nothing more than a
game, a game that they play and that they win.” The
game is the “cram it and forget it game” – which some
students really excel at. Ever since grade 1
spelling they know to study for that Friday quiz and
then they can forget it… because it will most likely
never be seen again. Lee was determined to come up with
a different way to organize learning… a
different way to look at learning and encouraging our
kids so that how they learn in the classroom keeps the
joy of learning alive – he calls it “the intrinsic
motivation” that every kindergartener brings
with them on the first day of school. Lee Jenkins,
author of “Permission to Forget”, is currently working
on his next book “The Perfect School.” He consults and
writes full-time with his firm LtoJ
Consulting Group, Inc. Contact him at (800) 559-9798;

18. ==> Is Our Rude Way of Treating One Another Bad for
Children?

These days, nothing’s more American than telling it
like it is – but author Wade Meadows says people are
too blunt, even brutal with each other, all in defiance
of this thing called “political
correctness.” A survivor of verbal and physical abuse,
Wade will reveal the lasting damage harsh, nasty
language does to children and grown-ups, and discuss
the power of words to build up or break down our
relationships. Wade can be reached at (225) 397-0785;
bhchism50@yahoo.com

19. ==> Perfect for ‘Warrior’ and ‘Bloodfist’ Fans

kickboxing with love of family? “The Lonely Eagle” by
national South African wrestling champion Stephanus J.
de Klerk is a raw look at kickboxing and

separate ways. When the family is in danger of losing
their farm, Paul prepares for one last championship
match. But when tragedy strikes, John must
understand why he fights: for money, for glory, or for
family. Filled with action and drama, “The Lonely
Eagle” is an intense read perfect for fans of movies
“Warrior” and “Bloodfist.” Contact Stephanus J.

20. ==> How to Make Small Talk with a Trump Supporter

You arrive at your new friend’s party only to discover
they and all of their friends are fervent Trump
supporters. And you despise Trump! This could be your
worst nightmare. But rather than engaging in a
shouting match, find out what it is they love about
Trump, which of his policies speak the most to them,
and why. Understanding could be the key to bridging
the great divide in America at the moment. So
says author and environmental engineer Yasmin Davar,
who can demonstrate how healing negative beliefs and
destructive thought patterns on the individual level
can lead to sustainable peace, prosperity and
happiness for the entire world. Yasmin holds a Master
of International Studies in Peace and Conflict
Resolution and the author of the book “Our Peaceful
Planet: Healing Ourselves and the World for a
Sustainable Future.” Contact her at

1. ==> Christine Blasey Ford, I Believe You

Goldie Taylor understands why Christine Blasey Ford
kept her sexual assault a secret for three decades. She
too was abused in high school, by a football coach, and
told no one for 30 years until she
found out her abuser was working in a neighboring
school district and still had access to students. She
believes Blasey Ford’s claims, but also believes it’s
quite possible that Kavanaugh will still be
confirmed to the High Court. “Some will contend that
Kavanaugh’s behavior at age 17 should be dismissed as
the mistakes of a drunken school boy and have no
bearing on his future. This boys-will-be-boys
(and dare I say white boys) mentality when it involves
sexual impropriety presents a danger to every young
woman. It says she will not be believed and, even if
she is, it does not matter. She does not
matter.” Goldie Taylor is a novelist, opinion writer
and former political strategist. She’s been a featured
political analyst on nearly every major news network
and has been a guest on numerous shows
including Good Morning America, Dr. Phil and NPR’s All
Things Considered. Her novel, “Paper Gods,” is due out
in October. Contact her at contact@goldietaylor.com or
@goldietaylor

2. ==> Kavanaugh, Weinstein and the Definition of
Consent

Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh and Harvey
Weinstein, (who’s back in court on Sept 20th) both
demonstrate the critical need to define consent in our
laws. Joyce Short says ” Defining ‘consent’ is
the critical key to conquer sexual assault, but 76% of
the states and territories of the US, including NY
where Weinstein is on trial, have no consent
definition. Neither does federal law. Enough is
enough!” Short, a three-time sexual assault survivor,
spent years researching consent. She says, “#MeToo and
#TimesUp focused a glaring light on sexual assault. But
we still need a solution.
Standardizing consent is critical to that solution.”
Short is the author of “Combating Romance Scams: Why
Lying to Get Laid Is a Crime!” “Carnal Abuse by
Deceit,” and a TEDx talk entitled “When Yes Means
No: The Truth about Consent.” Contact her at (917)

3. ==> The Elephant in the Sacristy Revisited

Sixteen years ago, at the height of the 2002 clergy sex
scandals in the Catholic church and on the eve of a
meeting of bishops in Dallas, The Weekly Standard
published an essay by Mary Eberstadt called
“The Elephant in the Sacristy.” It included an in-depth
look at some of the most notorious clergy abuse cases
of the time. She now writes that the Catholic Church,
despite the latest news of more clergy
abuse, is in a far better place than it was 16 years
ago. She explains what has changed, what needs to
happen next and why she believes there’s reason for
hope.
“Good things will come of the evil confronted today.
Judging by the signs of newfound courage and
questioning, they already are. The ultimate legacy of
2018, whether we live to see it in this world or
not, will be a holier and more transparent church.”
Mary Eberstadt is senior research fellow at the Faith &
Reason Institute. An essayist, novelist, and author of
several books of non-fiction, her
writing has appeared in TIME, the Wall Street Journal,
The Weekly Standard, and other outlets. Contact her at
(202) 289-8775

4. ==> The Post-Financial Crisis Cooperative Business
Boom

This month marks the 10-year anniversary of the Lehman
Brothers bankruptcy and the beginning of the most
severe financial crisis and economic downturn since the
Great Depression. Invite Nathan Schneider
to discuss how, in the years since, there’s been a
revival in another kind of business that could provide
a real alternative to Wall Street. “Cooperatives are
businesses owned by and accountable to their
participants — ranging from small grocery stores to
Cabot Creamery and Organic Valley, from Ace Hardware to
the Associated Press. There’s a new generation bringing
this legacy into the 21st century,
building co-ops out of Bitcoin and low-wage care-work,
challenging the likes of Uber and the coal industry, as
electric co-ops are doing.” Nathan Schneider is a
professor of media studies at the
University of Colorado Boulder. He is the author of
“Everything for Everyone: The Radical Tradition That Is
Shaping the Next Economy.” Contact him at

5. ==> HBO’s The Deuce-Meets the Princess of 42nd
Street

HBO’s acclaimed series The Deuce is back! The show is
set in New York’s Times Square when pornography,
prostitutes and drugs were rampant. Romola Hodas says
watching the series with an actor playing her
dad is surreal; like watching her life play out on TV!
Romola s father was known as Times Square’s King of
Porn. He almost single-handedly developed Times Square
into New York’s hub of pornography and
adult entertainment in the 60s through the 80s, when
peep shows and live sex acts lined the streets. As the
oldest daughter of Martin Hodas, Romola grew up in a
chaotic whirlwind of swingers, mental
illness, drugs and organized crime. At the same time,
she was also protecting her three siblings from a
mother with bipolar and personality disorder. Invite
her on your show and hear how she survived two
attempted kidnappings, took family vacations with
mobsters, and what she thinks about the series.
Listeners can even win a copy of her book “The Princess
of 42nd Street surviving my childhood as the
Daughter of Times Square’s King of Porn.” Contact
Romola Hodas at (917) 863-1533; Harmony@Romola.com

7. ==> Prepare for Post-Hurricane Scam Surge

Unfortunately, if your home is damaged in a hurricane,
the dangers don’t end when the storm does. Unscrupulous
home repair scams skyrocket after a natural disaster.
William Francavilla says thieves know
their victims’ vulnerabilities and are always looking
for opportunities to steal their money. Invite him to
explain how to avoid being ripped off in a storm-
related repair, share common home-repair
scams, and what you need to know before hiring anyone
to work on your house. Francavilla is the author of
“The Madoffs Among Us, Combat the Scammers, Con Artists
and Thieves Who Are Plotting to Steal
your Money.” He’s a CFP and former senior vice

8. ==> Here’s Why Incompetent Coworkers Don’t Get Fired

Every company has one: an employee who should be fired
but isn’t. You know, the person who comes in late and
leaves early. Or takes credit for other people’s work.
Or, like the character Creed in “The
Office,” is just plain incompetent. Business consultant
Bonnie Sussman Versace can address this common but
mystifying situation. She knows why employers don’t
fire these awful employees and what a
terrible toll this takes on everyone else. She says,
“One employee can bring a company to its knees. It
becomes a lack of accountability on the boss’ part for
his or her inaction.” Bonnie is the author
of “Recipes for Thoughtful Leadership and Healthy
Culture.” She is the author of numerous articles for
Business Weekly, the Reading Eagle, and Lehigh Business
Journal. Contact her at (610) 301-2194 or

10. ==> Stop Blaming Social Media for Kids’ Problems

Whether it’s Facebook, Instagram or SnapChat, social
media has a firm hold on Americans, and kids and young
adults in particular. And with rising rates of
depression and suicide among the same group,
many wonder if there’s a connection. Joffre McClung
says there is, but it’s not the root of the problem.
“The issue isn’t so much the social media itself, it’s
that young people are constantly looking
outside of themselves for their worth, value and sense
of being good enough.” She’ll explain the many ways
lack of self-love affects our lives and share concrete
ways to take your power back from social
media. You’ll hear how parents can help kids develop
their own sense of self-love and why you should
incorporate five simple self-gratitude practices into
your daily life. Joffre McClung has appeared on
numerous radio and TV programs including CBS TV-Austin
TX, Hay House Radio and The Joe Franklin Show. A former
media producer, independent filmmaker, and author,
Joffre takes the esoteric and brings it
back down to earth with a big dose of common sense. Her
latest book is “The Heart of the Matter.” Contact her

11. ==> Are Life Insurance Companies Committing Elder
Abuse?

Most people buy insurance from a friendly agent at a
specific time and for a specific purpose… but did you
know that 90% of all policies lapse before maturity? Or
that when you don’t need your policy any
longer you could sell it? For cash? Chances are you
have no idea the hidden cash value of your policy… or
that you are paying more than you should for the policy
you have.
Interview David Kottler, the Insurance Doctor ™, about
these and other best kept secrets that insurance
companies don’t want you to know! He can explain what
you need to ask to figure out exactly what

12. ==> Sept. is Pain Awareness Month – Opioid
Alternatives

100 million Americans suffer from chronic pain. The
opioid crisis, which started with the overuse of
prescription painkillers, continues to escalate and as
a result many chronic pain patients are losing
access to the opioids they’ve depended on for decades.
September is an opportune time to focus on this issue.
Chronic pain expert Cindy Perlin is available to
discuss safe and effective alternative pain
treatments. Perlin is a Licensed Clinical Social
Worker, certified biofeedback practitioner and chronic
pain survivor. She is the author of “The Truth About

13. ==> Feed These Foods to Your Kids for Higher Grades

If you want your kids to get good grades, pay attention
to what you feed them, says Adita Lang, a parent who
lectures on nutrition at the university level. For
example, she’ll explain why you don’t want
your kids to eat mac ’n’ cheese for lunch but a pancake
breakfast is a great idea as long as it contains the
secret ingredient she’ll reveal. You’ll also learn why
black grapes are better than green
grapes and other tips worth knowing. Adita says, “The
average parent does not know how to feed their
children!” She knows parents are busy and easily
tempted to grab convenience foods for family
meals—including kids’ lunches. But, as she’ll point
out, food is fuel and when you feed your school
children the right foods they’ll benefit from better
brain development, focus, clarity and stronger
immune systems; what parent doesn’t want that? During
30 years in the wellness industry, Adita has worked
with thousands of individuals and been quoted in

14. ==> Thanks Selena: Artists Shine Light in the
Darkness

Some artists, like Selena Gomez, are open about their
health battles. The actress has spoken about struggling
with lupus but many artists shy away from revealing
their personal health struggles. Pop
singer/songwriter Lisa Sniderman (Aoede) applauds
Selena’s honesty and using her notoriety to help
educate and raise awareness about chronic illness. She
says sharing your journey is powerful—and
healing–for you and others who are struggling. Lisa
realized midway through her 10-year battle with a rare,
auto-immune disease that her art wasn’t just
therapeutic, it had become a lifeline, and
creativity was her path to healing. She’s collaborated
with more than 50 artists, musicians, and authors who
have turned to creativity to heal and will share their
stories during her live/streaming event
‘Lights in the Darkness-Creating to Heal’ this
December. Lisa says, “My vision is to share how we’ve
become lights for others through our stories and art,
focused on the art of healing.” Lisa has been
honored with more than 50 awards and has been
considered multiple times for a GRAMMY. “A Light in the
Darkness: Transcending Chronic Illness through the
Power of Art and Attitude,” intended to inspire
those who are struggling with or know someone who

16. ==> What This Divorced Pastor Learned About Staying
Married

When Pastor Eric Hawthorne’s wife asked him for a
divorce, he was stunned, because he thought he was a
good husband. He later learned that he was perhaps too
good. “The biggest mistake is that I am an
easy going person and like nothing but peace,” he says.
“If we had disagreements, as opposed to standing my
ground and letting her know how I felt, I would be
quiet to keep the peace. This was the worst
thing I could have done.” The single dad to two boys
aged 10 and 12 learned his lesson the hard way. Now, he
teaches couples on the brink of matrimony how to avoid
his mistakes to forge loving bonds of
respect that lead to successful marriages. Eric
Hawthorne is the second-generation pastor of Daystar
Deliverance Ministries in Richardson, Texas, and the

17. ==> Sept. is Suicide Prevention Month – How to Keep
Your Kid from Killing Himself

According to USA Today the teen suicide rate is
soaring. What can parents do to keep their kids safe?
How can they keep their worst nightmare from happening?
“Kids are really good at hiding things… they
hide their depression because they don’t want to be
‘the downer.’ They hide the signs that they are in
trouble… they don’t want you to know.” says Jennifer
Cochern, LCPC. How’s a parent supposed to know
if their kid is in trouble? Being sulky and silent,
depressed and anxious… isn’t that what the teen years
are supposed to be like? In her practice, Cochern
unravels the mystery of teen suicide – helping
kids and parents understand themselves and each other.
She will give your audience tips on what to look for
and also what THEY need to do NOW to keep their kids
safe. Jennifer Cochern, LCPC is a
counselor and the author of “Alignment: Move from
Internal Chaos to Clarity.” She has worked with

18. ==> Your Child’s Dreams Are Ruined

Your children are back in school, so what happens when
the things they want to be when they grow up aren’t
such good choices anymore? The girls who want to play
sports and go into media may get harassed
or assaulted in the workplace. As much as parents hate
to think of a future like this, it seems we are living
in a generation struggling for justice. We teach our
children to speak up when things are
wrong, but in Serena Williams case, her voice caused
her a penalty and an uproar within the media. A woman
accusing Judge Brett Kavanaugh of assault dating back
to when they were in high school is
finally speaking up but will anyone listen? As much as
we think schools and workplaces are safe now, not much
has changed. So what do we do? Nita Wiggins can speak
on discrimination and harassment in
schools and in the workplaces. Contact her to hear more
about the solutions she found, while living in the U.S.
and now Paris, France. Her contact is

20. ==> Laugh Your Way to Success

While growing up in a poor farm family in rural South
Carolina, life was far from amusing for Jane Jenkins
Herlong. Her high school dropout tenant farmer dad
struggled to make ends meet; she was
relentlessly teased for being homely; she was rejected
by numerous colleges; and told that she’d never amount
to anything. She also endured mental and verbal abuse,
and loved ones with addiction and
mental illness. But she managed to become a Miss
America contestant, a best-selling author, popular
humorist, gifted singer and sought after speaker who
was inducted into the Speaker Hall of Fame. She
credits her humor for her success. “I literally laughed
my way to ‘mental wealth!'” She can reveal how anyone
can use humor to overcome life’s darkest moments. Jane
is the award-winning author of four
books including her latest “Rhinestones on My Flip-
Flops.” She has also recorded music CDs and personal
growth and comedy DVDs. As a humorist, her comedy is

1. ==> Hurricane Florence – What to Do Now, During &
After

Hurricane Florence is supposed to come roaring up to
the coast Thursday night and then linger over the area
before heading inland. It’s bad news for the region and
could cause more destruction than previously thought
with whipping winds and torrential rains. Dr. James
Hubbard, aka The Survival Doctor, will share tips on
how to deal with an extended power outage and ways to
treat wounds and injuries when a doctor is out of
reach. He says even though a storm has passed, the
dangers linger. “Clean water is a huge concern. Even
though the water may look clean, it’s a cesspool of
germs and chemicals that can cause anything from a rash
to an infection—on the skin or internally.
Electrocution is a danger whenever there’s flooding,
and then there’s the issue of mosquitoes.” Dr. Hubbard
is a long-time family physician and survival medicine
expert. He shares his common-sense health advice on
dozens of radio shows, podcasts and blogs nationwide,
teaches easy-to-follow, makeshift ways to survive
disasters and in the wild, and is the author of several
books including “The Survival Doctor’s Complete
Handbook: What to Do When Help Is NOT on the Way.”

2. ==> Yes, You Should Evacuate: How to Get People to
Go

Mandatory evacuations have been issued in parts of
three states as Florence makes its way toward the
Carolina coast. And although many residents have
already fled or are preparing to leave, some people
will ultimately stay put. Against the advice of
authorities, these folks will try to weather the
whopper storm. Hilary Bergsieker, an assistant
professor of psychology at University of Waterloo, has
interviewed many hurricane survivors in her research.
“Survivors often mention staying put to help friends
and family, worrying that fleeing without these people
would mean abandoning them,” Bergsieker said. “To
encourage people to evacuate to safety, emphasize that
their loved ones want them to be safe and survive, even
if it means leaving home for a short while. In this
sense, escaping to safety is an act of loyalty and
enacting the hopes others have for you.” Contact her at

3. ==>After the Hurricane Comes the Scam Artists

Hurricane and natural disasters invite scams! Be
prepared not only for the storm, but also for the
aftermath that might invite unscrupulous home repair
people. William Francavilla says thieves know their
victims’ vulnerabilities and seek opportunities to
steal their money. Invite William Francavilla to share
what you can do to avoid being ripped off in a storm-
related repair. Francavilla is the author of “The
Madoffs Among Us, Combat the Scammers, Con Artists and
Thieves Who Are Plotting to Steal your Money.” He’s a
CFP and former senior vice president, director of
Wealth Management for Legg Mason who has extensive
media experience. Contact him at (757) 870-4590;

4. ==> After Moonves- How CBS Culture Needs to Change

CBS CEO and chairman Les Moonves has stepped down amid
sexual misconduct allegations and the board is
conducting an ongoing independent investigation, but S.
Chris Edmonds says CBS can and should change its
workplace culture immediately. He’ll discuss how fear,
intimidation, verbal abuse, belittling, and humiliation
are very present in most workplaces around the globe
today, why the details of workplace culture matter, and
how companies can create and use an Organizational
Constitution. S. Chris Edmonds is the founder and CEO
of The Purposeful Culture Group. a speaker, author, and
executive consultant who served as a senior consultant
with The Ken Blanchard Companies since 1995. Contact
Joshua Rollins at (614) 361-0292;

5. ==> With Trump in Crisis, Pence Waits in the Shadows

As crisis after crisis hits the Trump White House,
Michael D’Antonio says there’s one person in particular
who would gain from Trump’s departure—Mike Pence. “The
grave possibility of a crisis that ends the scandal-
scarred Trump presidency could explain the vice
president’s remarkable record of praising the chaotic
commander-in-chief while making himself scarce at
moments of crisis.” He adds, “Between his sycophancy,
which moved George Will to say that Pence could be
‘America’s most repulsive figure,’ and his widely noted
absences, Pence has established a record that would
make him blameless but also acceptable as a successor.
In the role of loyal but often absent vice president,
Pence has retained the support of the Trump base, which
means there would be no great uprising if he assumes
the presidency. Calm would prevail and no proof would
be found linking him to the Resistance.” Michael
D’Antonio is a Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and CNN
commentator. He’s the author of several books including
the “The Shadow President: The Truth about Vice
President Mike Pence” and “The Truth about Trump.”

6. ==> HBO’s The Deuce- Meets the Princess of 42nd
Street

HBO’s acclaimed series The Deuce is set in New York’s
Times Square during the rise of pornography,
prostitutes and drugs. Romola Hodas says watching the
series with an actor playing her dad is surreal; like
watching her life play out on TV! Romola s father was
known as Times Square’s King of Porn. He almost single-
handedly developed Times Square into New York’s hub of
pornography and adult entertainment in the 60s through
the 80s, when peep shows and live sex acts lined the
streets. As the oldest daughter of Martin Hodas, Romola
grew up in a chaotic whirlwind of swingers, mental
illness, drugs and organized crime. At the same time,
she was also protecting her three siblings from a
mother with bipolar and personality disorder. Invite
her on your show and hear how she survived two
attempted kidnappings, took family vacations with
mobsters, and what she thinks about the series.
Listeners can even win a copy of her book “The Princess
of 42nd Street surviving my childhood as the Daughter
of Times Square’s King of Porn.” Contact Romola Hodas

7. ==> What to Do in September So You Won’t Get Flu in
October

Why does each flu season feel worse than the year
before? “That’s because it is!” says Mylaine Riobe, MD,
FACOG – an integrative medicine doctor who has spent
years treating her patients using a unique blend of
functional and traditional Chinese medicine. This last
flu season killed the most children in five years and
had a second wave hitting us late. Find out why
unnaturally tinkering with our immune systems by
creating a “universal flu shot” would be a grave
mistake. “The flu shot is actually making our immune
systems weaker and more vulnerable for the next flu
season… which is why I build up my patients’ immune
systems from the beginning!” Let your audience ask Dr.
Riobe about all things flu related BEFORE the season
starts… they can prepare now! Dr. Riobe is the author
of “The Tao of Integrative Medicine.” She is a dynamic
progressive integrative medical doctor with over 15
years of experience. Dr. Mylaine Riobe at (772)

8. ==> Why I Forgave a Supervisor Who Tried to Kill Me!

When people go to work the last thing they expect is to
be physically and verbally assaulted by their
department administrator. Particularly over a
correctable mistake, in this case, a statistical error.
But that is what happened to Sharon Bahrych (pronounced
Bear-rich). Working as a physician’s assistant at a
teaching hospital, Sharon acknowledged making a
mathematical mistake on a grant application she had
filed, only to have her colleague Beth become instantly
enraged and scream at her as she was beginning to
asphyxiate her. Perhaps even more remarkable, Sharon
was able to forgive Beth, who never apologized. She was
eventually able to figure out what motivated Beth to go
ballistic. Sharon can talk about what she learned about
forgiveness—a message she believes could help others
who have endured domestic abuse, gang violence,
workplace bullying and workplace violence. Sharon is a
physician’s assistant who trained at Baylor College of
Medicine. She has a master’s in public health from the
University of Texas School of Public Health. She is the
author of “Practical Disciplines of a Christian Life.”

9. ==> Why Sanctuary Cities and States Should Be
Protected

While immigration remains a highly controversial topic,
many experts believe that sanctuary states and cities
serve an important purpose. According to Raleigh
Sadler, a Christian reverend and founder and executive
director of the New York-based non-profit Let My People
Go, these protections can help to decrease epidemic
human trafficking. “One of the first things New York
City Mayor Denis DiBlasio did was to give undocumented
immigrants their own IDs,” he says. “They became a wee
bit less vulnerable. Some people are scared to death to
get an ID because they don’t want to be on a registry.
A lot of immigrants have been conditioned not to trust
anybody. I think this is good.” Raleigh founded this
group in 2013 to combat global human rights injustices.
He can discuss how this epidemic affects society at
every level, and what we can all do to help stem the
tide of oppression. He is the author of the upcoming
book “Vulnerable: Rethinking Human Trafficking.”

10. ==> In the Age of Selfies, Do People Still Collect
Autographs?

Steve Long, CEO of Phamous Pholks Furniture Art
Pillows, has met Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew, Buzz
Aldrin, Brian Wilson, Tony Curtis and other famous
people and has their autographs to prove it—along with
the stories of how he obtained them. For a fun segment,
have Steve discuss why even today, the actual
signatures of famous people still have value. Steve can
share details about some of his rare autographs,
including Charlie Chaplin, John Glenn and Sally Ride,
as well as reveal whose signatures draw the most money
from collectors. He can also talk about why people love
celebrities so much, why they identify with them so
closely and why autograph collecting is far from dead.
His company produces full-size art pillows with
anybody’s image on them. Including celebrities. Reach
him at (520) 358-2871; steve@phamouspholks.com

11. ==> Beer … and Other Surprising Sources of Stress

Do your favorite foods include cheese, beer, and French
fries? Would it surprise you to learn that these foods
might also lead you to experience more stress? It’s
true, says Gillian Padgett, a psychotherapist,
hypnotherapist and stress expert who has studied the
interplay of nutrition and stress for 25 years. Gillian
can share the surprising ways the foods we eat can add
to our stress, put us in a foul mood and even affect us
days after we eat them! In addition to sharing the five
foods that add to our stress, she can also reveal her
list of foods that lend themselves to calmness. She’ll
also explain why you need to pay special attention to
food additives if you are concerned about mitigating
stress. Gillian is the author of “Let Stress Heal Your
Life.” Reach her at (647) 270-7602;

12. ==> This M.D. Can Cure Autism and ADHD in 30 Days

While the majority of medical professionals believe
that there is no cure for autism, Dr. Rajalakshmi
Kandaswamy strongly disagrees. In fact, she has helped
hundreds of children with non-verbal autism and ADHD,
without ever meeting them in person! She accomplishes
this through her unique remote healing method called
Intent Healing™. “I am the only autism expert and
expert in nonverbal autism who is a medical doctor and
a healer who is helping nonverbal autistic children
from all over the world communicate through speech in
10 (or less) remote healing sessions, without meeting
or seeing any of them in person,” she says. With over
25 years of experience in remote healing, she recently
was recognized by Buzzfeed as one of five professionals
in the world to watch out for in the autism arena. She
is the author of the book “How to Heal Autism and ADHD
in 30 Days: The Phenomenally Powerful Breakthrough of
Intent Healing,” and a graduate of India’s premier
medical college C.M.C Vellore. Contact her at

14. ==> Explore What’s Wrong with America’s Health
Delivery System

The industry of medicine, including insurance
companies, Big Pharma, and a medical corporate
structure that appears driven more by profits than
patient consideration, represent a significant problem
in our health care delivery. Doctors are growing
frustrated to the point of leaving the profession.
Nurses and ancillary teams are drowning in over-
documentation and have less time for patient care.
Invite Michael J. Young, M.D., to discuss his
experience with the challenges to our health care
delivery system gone awry. A practicing physician for
three decades, and author of The Illness of Medicine,
Dr. Young will offer insights for both patients and
health care professionals. Sample questions: Does
America need a single payer system to fix it’s broken
health care system? Who is most to blame for our
problems? What could Congress enact to fix the system
or is it unfixable? How does our health care compare
with other industrialized countries? Contact William
Dorich at (310) 923-2157; gmbooks@icloud.com

15. ==> Become a Better Leader by Sitting on the Toilet

Comedian and life coach Jen Coken thinks a lot of
business advice is too dry so she’s lightening things
up. The author of “Embrace the Ridiculousness of Life:
A Pocket Guide to Being a Better You” will explain how
listeners can “let go” while they are, actually, ahem,
letting go. She’ll dispense 12 easily digestible
lessons leaders can quickly apply to their lives. In
other words, the type of reading that one might do in
the bathroom while “taking care of business.” As Coken
likes to say, “We all need seven to eight hours of
delicious sleep and a good morning poop to be right for
the day. This 70-page book can be read in one single
flush; it will give you a new ability to manage your
staff, ask for a raise or go to work with a new
attitude.” She’ll discuss setting goals, avoiding burn-
out and how to get out of tough conversations among
other issues. Jen Coken has coached more than 10,000
clients over the past 20 years. Contact her at (303)

16. ==> Interview ‘The Decision Doctor’

Have you ever had to make a tough decision? Like
whether to leave a job? Get out of a relationship? Or
what medical treatment to pursue? It can leave you
feeling scared, lonely, and frozen with fear. Terrie
Novak is an expert at decision-making… or “choice-

she does it every day at work for her customers. So,

some important decisions. Terrie will share her
powerful story with your audience and explain how her
six-step decision making process makes any decision
easier to make. Terrie Novak works in software

17. ==> What Was It Like to Date a Real-Life James
Bond?

John thought he was 007. When Patti Houtz started to
date him, he worked undercover for the DEA in Miami.
Those dates turned into incredible adventures—and
danger soon followed. Patti can talk about her
escapades with John and the unbelievable criminals she
met. Carrying a large 9mm handgun was routine and while
other couples went to the movies, Patti and John were
actually living their own movie, just like in Tom
Cruise’s new flick, “American Made.” The duo got
involved in everything from busting drug dealers to
searching for the Sasquatch. Patti has sensational
stories to share of the time she risked her life for
love; the stories are contained in her new memoir “Solo
by Choice.” Reach Patti at (775) 376-1676;

18. ==> Sept. is National Recovery Month: Does AA Work?

Did you know that 1 out of every 3 people suffer from
addiction? That means we all know someone dealing with
this potentially fatal disease. According to Michael
McGee, MD the key to recovery is to be grateful for the
addiction. “There is something ‘right’ about addiction,
even though it devastates people’s lives.”
Dr. McGee will share how understanding why people want
and need to make themselves feel better – if only for a
short time – is the key to recovery. He can talk about
his unique Touchstone Approach to recovery from
addiction and why it works better than AA for many
people. Dr. Michael McGee trained at Stanford and
Harvard Medical Schools. For over 30 years he has
helped hundreds of patients beat their addictions to go

20. ==> Why Science and Faith Are Not Mutually
Exclusive

While science and religion have long been considered
mutually exclusive, David L. Peters credits both for
his good fortune in business and his personal life. At
84, he has achieved great prominence in his career as
an engineer, holds 18 patents, raised seven great kids
and has enjoyed a loving marriage of 57 years. In
addition, he has just become a first-time author of a
well-received book that reveals the secrets to success
and happiness. “My faith comes through science, as I
firmly believe that quantum physics has proven the
existence of a power or force beyond all,” he says.
David has accomplished this by applying the 12 Steps of
Alcoholic Anonymous to his daily life, which he says
can help anyone, even if they never touched liquor or
drugs. He can share simple but powerful ways how others
can, too. David L. Peters is the author of “The 12

1. ==> The Pageant is Sunday – Is Gretchen Carlson
Ruining Miss America?

Late long-time Miss America Chairman Al Marks often
said that Miss America is the “girl next door,” the
all-American young woman who becomes America’s
Sweetheart overnight. “Al would roll over in his grave
to see how the Miss America Pageant has become about
the agendas of one person in leadership, rather than
focusing on the building of women into leaders,” says
former Miss South Carolina Jane Jenkins Herlong.
“Sadly, (former Miss America and current Miss America
Chairwoman) Gretchen Carlson is using the very program
that helped launch her career to launch another agenda:
The #MeMeMeMeToo movement, which is about the agenda of
one person, rather than the good of many.” Jane is the
best-selling author of four books including Indie Book
Award-winning “Rhinestones on My Flip-Flops.” She is a
popular speaker who was inducted into the Speaker Hall
of Fame, and a gifted singer who has recorded music CDs

It’s the story of Vince Papale, a 30-year-old teacher

a shot to try out for the Philadelphia Eagles as a
publicity stunt. Incredibly, Vince made the squad and
went on to become a key part of the team. What does it
actually take to make the cut? Why not ask Vince to
share his incredible but true “Rocky Balboa-like” story
with your audience? You may also interview another

his life to get the shots viewers and TV networks
crave. David can talk about what it’s like to film
2,000 feet above the Super Bowl and other stadiums and
why he believes he has the greatest job in the world
even though two dozen airborne cameramen just like him
have been killed on the job. He says, “I don’t fear
death. I fear not living.” David is an Emmy-award
winner who has flown over a thousand missions to
capture breath-taking, airborne images for shows like

of Super Grandparenting

In virtually every family, grandparents play an
important role in preparing their family’s younger
generations for happier and more successful life. But
sometimes “super” grandparenting is in order. In honor
of international Grandparents Day, and year-round, your
audience will be truly inspired by Dr. Oliver Akamnonu
and his wife. Explore with them on-air: what happened
when their daughter, Nena, discovered her first
pregnancy while in medical school (the baby’s father
was thousands of miles away)… how the Akamnonu couple
left their high powered careers to care for baby Lydia
when she was born, so Nena could continue med
studies… 6 things, other than financial support and
child care, that super grandparents can do to help
their extended family… how super grandparenting can
improve family health, education, income, relationships
and the future of America. The Akamnonus authored the
popular book “Little Baby Lydia, Grandma, Grandpa and

1. ==> Will Swamp Slime Envelop Trump?

Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort,
was convicted on eight counts of financial crimes
Tuesday, while ex-Trump lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen
pleaded guilty to eight criminal counts and admitted in
court that he committed some of these crimes “in
coordination and at the direction of a candidate for
federal office.” Biographer Michael D’Antonio says,
“The culture of corruption that has enveloped Trump for
years, in his serial bankruptcies and shady dealings
and scandals like Trump University, now has a criminal
quality affirmed in two federal courts. This is what
Trump does, this is the company he keeps, and these are
the practices now closing in on him.” And what about
Trump’s hint that he may pardon Cohen or Manafort?
D’Antonio says, “This type of meddling, unheard of
where Presidents are concerned, is the essence of the
swamp. Trump already has the stink of it on him and
it’s not going to go away.” Michael D’Antonio is a
Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and CNN commentator. He’s
the author of several books including the “The Truth
about Trump” and the upcoming “The Shadow President:
The Truth about Vice President Mike Pence.” Contact him

2. ==> Will Democrats Get Rid of Superdelegates?

The Democratic National Committee is in Chicago this
week, 50 years after the gavel fell at the disastrous
1968 Democratic National Convention in that city. On
the DNC’s agenda is a decisive vote on what to do about
the party’s “superdelegates.” In an article for
HuffPost, Norman Solomon writes: “The schedulers for
this coming week’s Democratic National Committee
meeting either have a sly sense of irony or a touch of
historical amnesia. Solomon notes that “much of the
mayhem in the streets and the angry dissent inside the
amphitheater a half-century ago stemmed from the well-
grounded belief that the Democratic establishment had
rigged the nominating process for its candidate, Vice
President Hubert Humphrey.” Drawing a parallel with
present-day concerns about unfairness in the party’s
presidential nominating process, Solomon writes:
“Widely unpopular at the grassroots, the superdelegate
system remains a burr in the donkey’s saddle,
threatening to further undermine party unity in the
quest to regain the White House.” Solomon is executive
director of the Institute for Public Accuracy, co-
founder of RootsAction.org and coauthor of “Autopsy:
The Democratic Party in Crisis.” He is in Chicago
through Saturday. Contact him at

3. ==> Ask These Former NFL Players How to Make the Cut
in Football and in Life

Remember that movie ‘Invincible’ staring Mark Wahlberg?
It was the story of Vince Papale, a real-life Rocky-
type, who was given a shot to try out for the
Philadelphia Eagles and made the team. This August,
NFL teams are cutting dozens of players, but what does
it actually take to make the cut? Interview Vince
and/or another “Invincible” former Philadelphia Eagle,
Dennis Franks on what it really takes to succeed in the
NFL or anything else. Vince and Dennis have many
obstacles to achieve great success in business after
football. An iconic photo of them both laughing on the
sidelines hangs in the Football Hall of Fame. They are
authors of “The Last Laugh: From Vision to Victory” and
will share a 7-step process for setting and achieving
any goal. They’ll enthrall you with real stories of the
gridiron. Contact Nancy Franks at (336) 420-1507;
nancyfranks@gmail.com

4. ==> ‘Beautifully Broken’: Interview Actor Benjamin
Onyango

The new film Beautifully Broken opens tomorrow, and
already the movie is getting huge buzz. It tells the
story of three fathers across the globe whose lives
converge as they fight to save their families. Kenyan-
born actor Benjamin Onyango stars as the real-life
William Mwizerwa, a Rwandan businessman who protected
his family during the genocide against Tutsi where
nearly one million people were killed. Benjamin can
discuss the new film and his role as Mwizerwa, who
successfully escaped Rwanda with his family and now
helps the refugee community as a teacher, minister and
counselor in Tennessee. Benjamin Onyango has appeared
in films such as God’s Not Dead and Tears of the Sun.

5. ==> The History of Punk Rock Behind the Iron Curtain

Long before the Berlin Wall came down, social
discontent and a shared fear of nuclear annihilation
among the young on both sides had already galvanized a
generation of resisters. The end of a divided Germany
actually came from within, fueled in part by punk rock.
Renowned music journalist and German-language
translator Tim Mohr will share the little-known story
of a group of East German kids who rebelled and helped
set the world on fire. Hear how punk rock became a
secret but powerful tonic—the rallying point of an East
German youth revolution and the soundtrack to a
history-changing uprising. Tim Mohr is a literary
translator who also collaborated on memoirs by
musicians Gil Scott-Heron, Duff McKagan of Guns N’
Roses, and Paul Stanley of KISS. He spent several years
as a staff editor at Playboy magazine, where he edited
Hunter S. Thompson, John Dean, Harvey Pekar, and many
others. Prior to starting his writing career, he earned
his living as a club DJ in Berlin. His new book is
“Burning Down the Haus: Punk Rock, Revolution, and the
Fall of the Berlin Wall.” Contact Johanna Ramos-Boyer
at (703) 646-5137 or Erin Bolden at (703) 646-5188.

6. ==> Take the Anxiety Out of Back-to-School

As the clock ticks toward the start of another school
year kids are getting anxious about heading back to the
classroom and parents are stressed out thinking about
homework battles and busy family schedules ahead.
Whether your kid procrastinates on assignments, is
anxious over their appearance, or is afraid to try out
for the school play or sports team, anxiety buster
Mariann Adams says you may be handling their anxieties-
and yours-all wrong. “Most people experience anxiety at
some point, and kids are no exception. But there’s no
such thing as performance anxiety! In fact, there’s no
such thing as test, homework, sports, business or even
appearance anxiety, and thinking there is causes big
problems! All these things are really ‘outcome anxiety’
and it comes from being unsure-of-coming-out-okay.” She
adds, “Parents and kids tackle anxiety by trying to get
rid of fear, but the real solution is to build core
strength, and once you know how, fear melts away
automatically.” Mariann Adams has done extensive
research on the psychological, physiological,
neurological, and interpersonal aspects of anxiety
elimination. She is the author of “Boost Core Power and
Bust Anxiety” and “The Core Power Pro-Launch Pad.”

7. ==> Should You Consider Homeschooling?

Whether you don’t like your school system, can’t afford
a private a school or have a child with special needs,
homeschooling has become a viable option for many
families. But should you—and can you—do it? Discuss the
issue with Marywinn Lent, a grandmother who’s
homeschooled her children, grandchildren, and children
from her community for the past 30 years. She says many
parents rule out homeschooling because they think
they’re unqualified to teach their kids and worry their
children will wind up with an inferior education or
become social weirdos. But she says there are many
advantages to educating kids at home, “Homeschooling
helps children to either excel and move on to greater
heights of learning earlier or to be able to grasp
harder concepts without having to be left behind.”
She’ll discuss the range of homeschooling resources
available to parents today and explain why she thinks
children benefit from the experience. Contact Marywinn
Lent at lent11@windstream.net

8. ==> How the Wrong Breakfast Can Ruin Back-to-School

It’s Back-to-School time and you want your kids to do
well. But without even knowing it, you may be
sabotaging their success. Find out how by interviewing
Gillian Padgett. For example, she’ll explain how it’s
nearly impossible for kids to absorb information when
they don’t eat a nutritious breakfast—and that does not
include “chocolate frosted sugar bombs.” In addition to
interfering with their concentration, the wrong
breakfast foods can make children moody, tearful and
even aggressive. Gillian can also talk about how to get
your students to do their homework without nagging them
and how to limit the negative effects of social media.
She trained in the UK as a psychotherapist and
hypnotherapist and is the author of “Let Stress Heal
Your Life.” Reach her at (647) 270-7602;

11. ==> This M.D. Tells How Conventional Medicine Has
to Change

Practitioners of Eastern medicine have long known that
there is a strong connection between our emotions and
our physical health, or lack thereof. However, most
Western medical professionals often ignore the whole
person when treating disease. According to Steven M.
Hall, M.D., this is a huge mistake. “Western doctors
are trained to treat disease,” he says. “So they treat
people as mechanical objects. Mind and body are not
separate but are integrated units, and both must be
considered when seeking the causes and cures for
disease.” Although trained in conventional Western
medicine, Dr. Steve began including alternative
treatments into his practice to achieve the next level
of healing to treat the causes as well of symptoms of
disease, with dramatic results. He explores this and
other insights into health care in his book “The 7
Tools of Healing: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom and Live the
Life Your Soul Desires.” Contact him at (425) 531-3684.

12. ==> Sept. 4th Is Anniv. of Joan Rivers’ Death – Do
a Show on Medical Errors

Joan Rivers died Sept. 4, 2014, at age 81. The
comedian’s death came days after undergoing a routine
procedure in Manhattan. Her death stunned the world…
but unfortunately, it’s not all that uncommon for
people to die needlessly during routine procedures in
surgicenters across the US. Why do medical errors
leading to deaths continue to rise in this country?
Interview Dr. Ira Williams who will tell you why paying
for health care isn’t the real problem… it’s the
delivery system that’s broken! At 85 years young, Dr.
Ira Williams has been hounding the five Federal
Agencies created to solve the health care crisis in
this country for decades. With over 130 years
collectively between those agencies our health care
system is still a mess. Dr. Ira Williams is an author,
an experienced surgeon, medical malpractice expert
witness and an expert in how to improve our healthcare
delivery system. His latest book is “Healthcare
Warriors, Why and How to Become One.” Contact him at

13. ==> How Being Disorganized Can Endanger Your Life

We have all heard how you can save money, time,
property and possessions by being more organized. But
wise vs. lackluster organization habits can even extend
your life! That’s the message of RN/APRN (nurse
practitioner) and author Anne McAwley-LeDuc, who is
creating a new movement for maintaining personal health
history — a life-saving practice! With the release of
her critically acclaimed workbook “Personal Health
Organizer: Record Your Medical and Dental History,
Birth Through Life,” Anne is helping people keep their
health records, including: medical conditions,
surgeries, childhood health history, orthopedic
history, immunizations, allergies, dental procedures
and much more. After all, it’s so easy to forget key
health facts, to your peril, especially with our busy
lives that often involve travel, moving, and
establishing relationships with new
doctors/clinics/hospitals. Invite Anne to discuss her
strategies for staying “in the know” about your health
journey. Contact her at (860) 642-1786;

14. ==> His Wife Beat Cancer by Avoiding Sugar

When Anthony Randle’s wife Jessica was diagnosed with
stage four breast cancer, her doctors told her she
could eat whatever she wanted while undergoing
aggressive treatments. But after having a poignant
dream about his late grandmother who was a gifted
energy healer, Anthony began doing his own research and
discovered some shocking facts. “I learned that sugar
actually feeds cancer,” he says. After elimination
sugar from her diet, Jessica sailed through chemo with
virtually no side effects. “After every treatment, I
wanted her to relax and nap,” he says. “But she would
have so much energy that we would go play tennis. The
ball would rush past me!” He shares his poignant
experiences in his acclaimed book “The True Story of a
Husband, A Best Friend and Care Giver: The Struggle
Within,” and can reveal how he and his wife made it
through this traumatic experience healthier and happier
than ever. Contact him at arandle1076@ gmail.com or
(702) 533-6667.

15. ==> Is Your Nail Salon Tech a Victim of Human
Trafficking?

Most people know about human trafficking as it applies
to prostitution. But not all victims of this epidemic
human rights abuse are forced to be sex workers, and a
lot of them are already in this country. “They could be
a nail salon worker who is an undocumented immigrant
from Queens, a construction worker or someone who was
trafficked to be a nanny,” says Raleigh Sadler, a
Christian reverend and founder and executive director
of the New York-based non-profit Let My People Go.
“Traffickers do not care about your immigration status;
they exploit vulnerable people.” Raleigh founded the
group in 2013 to combat global human rights injustices.
He can discuss how this epidemic affects society at
every level, and what we can all do to help stem the
tide of oppression. He is the author of the upcoming
book “Vulnerable: Rethinking Human Trafficking.”

16. ==> Are You Making Yourself Broke?

When you’re broke it’s easy to blame your low-paying
job and endless bills, but are those the real causes of
your empty bank account? Could the reason you’re broke
actually be your own fault? Invite Arnoux Goran,
author, speaker, and the world’s #1 expert in personal
transformation to reveal the truth behind why you’re
broke and how to start making money and live a happier
life. His successful method to reprogram yourself has
been studied by the University of California, Irvine,
and shown dramatic results. His forthcoming book, “The
Answer: How to Change Your Life and Make Your Dreams
Come True”, reveals how to release negative emotions
permanently and truly change your life by addressing
the cause of repeating patterns. Goran has been
featured on radio and television. Contact him at (877)

18. ==> Music to the Ears of People Who Hate Time
Management

Most people’s workdays are filled with chaos. They wish
they could get more done, but interruptions and their
own disorganization get in the way. Executive coach and
business mentor Jonathan Denn will lay out a unique
approach for accomplishing more that uses music as a
metaphor. He’ll explain how to divide the day into
“sessions” or “sets” the way a musician would. He’ll
offer quick productivity tips and discuss how to find
two hours of additional free time in each day and how
to use jam sessions to have better face-to-face
meetings, phone calls or create more effective emails.
Jonathan Denn spent several decades as a hotel chain
CEO, business coach, leadership development trainer and
mentor. His articles often appear in Forbes and
Fortune. His book is “Drumbeat Business Productivity

19. ==> Is He Crazy to Predict Jerusalem’s Destruction?

Jerusalem is a holy city for Christians, Moslems, and
Jews, all of whom depend on its existence. But,
according to Bible scholar Richard Ruhling, M.D., the
city is in imminent danger. As the author of the new
bestselling book “The Destruction of Jerusalem,” he
will lay out three reasons why Jerusalem’s very
existence is now imperiled—a topic that is timely
because yesterday marked the Historic Jewish Day of
Calamity commemorating when the second Jewish temple
burned in 70 AD. When events in the news confirm that
Dr. Ruhling is right, please contact him to schedule an
interview. He’s an experienced talk show guest. Reach

20. ==> How to Stay Married for Life

Half of all marriages in Western society end in
divorce. So how have pastor and Christian marriage
counselor Rev. George Sukhdeo and his wife, Shirley,
managed to remain happily married for 46 years? “We
have experienced almost every challenge couples face in
a marriage,” he says. “A marriage with Christ at its
center is much more than having someone to do the
dishes after dinner, take care of you when you’re sick,
or help you make the car payment every month.” Rev.
George is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal
Assemblies of Canada. He received a Master of Ministry

1. ==> NFL Kneelers: Get Specific, What are You
Protesting?

Frank Miniter says what is really disappointing about
the NFL players’ kneeling debate is that it has split
along lines of patriotism versus the right to protest.
He says instead of kneeling in protest, players should
use their platform to bring attention to specific
issues. “(Colin) Kaepernick says players are protesting
‘systemic oppression.’ OK, but please give us some
specifics. A lot of people, including me, would like
some details about this “systemic oppression” and would
like to hear proposals on how to end it. I think all
Americans would welcome hearing answers from players
that we could discuss as a nation and that candidates
running for political office could debate.” Frank
Miniter is an investigative journalist and the author
of several books including “The Ultimate Man’s Survival
Guide—Recovering the Lost Art of Manhood.” Miniter is
a contributor to Forbes and has appeared on FOX News,
NewsmaxTV’s America’s Forum, the Christian Broadcast
Network and other media outlets. Contact him at

2. ==> Diane Dimond on Discovery’s ‘Pamela Smart’

In 1990, 22-year-old Pamela Smart found her husband
dead in their New Hampshire condo. In a story that
inspired the Hollywood film ‘To Die For’ starring
Nicole Kidman, it was later revealed that Pamela
conspired with her teenage lover and his friends to
kill her husband. The trial would become the first
nationally televised courtroom case, transfixing the
nation with details about the scandalous murder, tawdry
affair and teenage assassins. In a special 3-night TV
event beginning August 19th, Investigation Discovery
looks back at one of the most notorious crimes of the
century in ‘Pamela Smart: An American Murder Mystery.’
Interview Diane Dimond, one of the experts featured in
the series. Diane is an investigative journalist and TV
news mainstay who covered the Pamela Smart case for
Newsweek and The Daily Beast. She can weigh in with her
thoughts on the murder case and trial and any new
details uncovered in this documentary series. Contact
John Angelo at john@premieretv.com.

3. ==> Warning – Another Dangerous Internet Challenge

It would seem there’s no end to the one-upmanship
concerning viral trends and dares. The latest social
media craze, called Dragon Breath, involves eating a
meringue kiss candy dipped in liquid nitrogen. Many
people have shared videos of them blowing out smoke
from their mouth and nose. Add this to the Momo and the
Kiki Challenge and you wonder how these things get
started. Invite Dr. John Huber to talk about the
challenges, why people do stupid things, and how to
talk to your kids about making good decisions. Dr. John
Huber is a clinical forensic psychologist and the
chairman for Mainstream Mental Health, a non-profit
mental health organization. Dr. Huber has appeared on
hundreds of radio shows and dozens of national
television programs. Contact Ryan McCormick at (516)
901-1103; (919) 377-1200.

4. ==> Just Like the Jetsons – The Flying Car is
Coming!

It sounds like something out of the Jetsons, but did
you know that flying cars are actually here? And that
next year, you’ll be able to buy one? Terrafugia, a
company outside of Boston, has developed a two-seat
auto/aircraft that promises true door-to-door
transportation—and looks straight out of a sci-fi
movie! Terrafugia CEO Chris Jaran says, “We are at the
critical point where we can implement the best design
features based on years of flight and drive testing.
This will improve function, safety and aesthetics for
the optimal flying and driving experience.”
Terrafugia’s first product, the Transition, will enter
the market in 2019 followed by a cargo and passenger
version, currently in development. Terrafugia was
founded in 2006 by five award- winning MIT graduates,
with the mission of creating practical flying cars that
enable a new dimension of personal freedom. Contact
Danielle Kershner at (781) 491-0812 ext. 128;

5. ==> The Key to A Happy College Experience

Transitioning to college life can be incredibly
stressful. But there is a way to make the change
easier. Ted Larkins, best-selling author, trainer, and
speaker, developed the Get To Principle, which gives
students the ability to say ‘I get to,’ as opposed to
‘I have to!’ He says, “This simple tool opens the door
and paves the way for better grades, more energy,
better relationships, enhanced decision making and an
improved overall campus experience. Life is a wildcard,
but the ability to live more in the present moment
allows you to live more stress free, be more of a
creator of your life instead of a victim to it.”
Larkins is the author of “Get to Be Happy: Stories and
Secrets to Loving the Sh*t Out of Life.” He is the
former senior VP of one of the world’s leading
entertainment, sport, and brand licensing agencies and
a guest lecturer for the UCLAx Entertainment Studies
and Performing Arts program. Reach him at (818)
261-8262; twlarkins@gmail.com

6. ==> Back-to-School: Re-Set Your Kid’s Sleep Schedule

As summer wanes and autumn approaches, parents
everywhere ready themselves for the frustration of
trying to get kids out of bed and off to school while
they ready themselves for the workday. Author Dr.
Saundra Dalton-Smith will talk about how adults and
kids can more easily reacclimate themselves from
easygoing summer schedules to the hectic rat race that
begins in the fall. Dr. Saundra will talk about how
parents can help children – and themselves – find a
balance between work, school, and fun, and feel rested
despite increased work hours and commitments. Talk to
Dr. Saundra about the seven different types of rest
that kids and parents need to be happy, healthy, and
productive. Dr. Saundra’s advice and expertise has been
featured in Woman’s Day and Prevention magazines. You
can reach her at (256) 405-9765;

7. ==> Is Sending Your Kids to School without Breakfast
Child Abuse?

Your Life.” Reach her at (647) 270-7602;

8. ==> Lose Weight by Eating More Pizza & Chocolate

Mouth-watering pizza. Rich chocolate. Both top the list
of foods many people can’t stop eating until they’ve
consumed the entire pie or box of candy. But live on
the air, Sora Vernikoff can teach your audience her
simple Green Technique that will allow them to eat all
the pizza and chocolate they want and still lose
weight. Turning conventional wisdom on its ear, she’ll
explain why thinking about food makes you fat—not
eating it—and bad-for-you foods are a myth. Sora, a
former elementary school teacher who lost 25 pounds and
has kept them off for decades, has helped hundreds of
people discover the secret for knowing when to stop
eating. She is the author of the Amazon bestseller “Eat
Want You Want! Stop When You Want!: A No-Diet, Weight-
Loss Program.” This experienced talk show guest spent
more than a decade teaching her program while working
under the auspices of a leading New York City
endocrinologist. She has also taught the program at the
Learning Annex and lectured at Lennox Hill Hospital.

9. ==> Former Miss America Contestant Says New Pageant
is ‘The Death of Excellence’

Former ugly duckling Jane Jenkins Herlong grew up to be
such a lovely swan that she became a Miss America
contestant. And she is not happy with the new version
of the competition, especially the elimination of the
swimsuit contest. “Being physically fit is one of the
standards of excellence,” Jane says. “Our country is
becoming more inclusive to the point of the danger of
complacency. The Miss America Pageant is the latest
target.” Jane can share her fascinating pageant
experiences, and reveal why she thinks that feminists
have it all wrong when it comes to overhauling this 97-
year-old institution. She is the best-selling author of
four books including Indie Book Award-winning
“Rhinestones on My Flip-Flops.” She also is a sought-
after speaker who was inducted into the Speaker Hall of
Fame, a gifted singer who has recorded music CDs, and
humor/personal growth DVDs. As a humorist, her comedy
is featured on Sirius XM 97. Contact her at (803)
480-1190; janejenkinsherlong@gmail.com

10. ==> Talk to the Man Who’s Fireproofing Neverland
Ranch

Why are celebrities getting their homes fireproofed?
You would, too, if your home were literally directly in
the line of fire. Last year, California wildfires
caused $160 billion dollars in damage. Right now, the
largest wildfire in California history is currently
decimating hundreds of thousands of acres. Californian
entrepreneur Jim Moseley has repurposed a fire-proofing
material used by NASA as a powerful line of defense
against the conflagration. Has he found a fool-proof
way to fireproof our property and our natural
resources? Jim Moseley will talk about the wildfires of
2017, discuss preparations for the season ahead, and
how he realized the solution to the problem could be
found in existing technology. Featured on the May cover
of Malibu Times magazine, Jim Moseley can be reached at
(818) 486-4662; jim@SunFireDefense.com

11. ==> Develop Your Inner BS Detector!

Fake news. Social media overload. Humans being replaced
by machines in the workforce. No wonder modern people
feel so anxious, angry and disconnected from reality.
Kim Chestney has the simple yet powerful solution:
Intuition! “Intuition is the most important, yet least
understood faculty of human consciousness.” Kim says.
“Getting your ego out of the way and developing your
inner voice is a great BS detector. It can also
facilitate well-being and growth in all aspects of your
life.” Kim has spent 20 years helping tens of thousands
of people to empower their lives and live their truth
with intuition. She can share how anyone can tap into
this innate trait to achieve success in every aspect of
their lives. Kim is an international best-selling
author and artist who founded the popular CREATE!
Festival in Pittsburgh, Pa. Her new Intuition
Masterclass is launching this fall as part of the debut
of her global online school, Intuition Lab. Contact her

12. ==> Why the Best Golf Advice Comes from Bad Golfers

You might think that the best golf advice you could get
would come from a golf pro—and not from a high handicap
golfer. But Andre Huu says you don’t need a low score
to learn life lessons from the game, lessons he
discovered during 20 years of hitting a little white
ball around the links. Using golf as a metaphor for
life, Andre will explain why everyone should play each
round of golf as though it were their last, choosing
enjoyment over a low score. He’ll encourage people to
take risks, view hazards as opportunities and also
share a novel way for people to give their everyday
lives a scorecard. Andre’s book is “The Round of Your
Life.” A former physical therapist, he has a handicap
of 20. Reach him at (832) 418-8860; AndrePT228@aol.com

13. ==> Why Do Hospital Accidental Deaths Receive No
Review?

Dr. Ira Williams has been hounding the five Federal
agencies created to solve the health care crisis in
this country for decades. With over 130 years
collectively between those agencies our health care
system is still a mess AND medical errors leading to
deaths in hospitals continues to rise. Invite Dr.
Williams, the oldest medical malpractice expert witness
in the country, to discuss a system he developed to
empower local grassroots activists in each state to
radically change our health care delivery system. He
says, “Everyone is focusing on how to PAY for health
care… when the DELIVERY system is what’s really
broken!” You’ll learn why each state is responsible for
our nation’s healthcare delivery system, what the 3-
phase process is that we need to implement to create a
21st century healthcare delivery system and how to
organize state wide grassroots activists that will
challenge the current system and WIN! Dr. Ira Williams
is an experienced surgeon, medical malpractice expert
witness and an expert in how to improve our healthcare
delivery system. His latest book is “Healthcare
Warriors, Why and How to Become One.” Contact him at
(864) 676-1420; drirawilliams@gmail.com

14. ==> This M.D. Blows the Whistle on Health Insurance
Companies

While many patients in Western society have discovered
the benefits of combining traditional Western and
alternative healing practices into their treatment
plans, insurance companies still stubbornly refuse to
cover the latter. “They don’t want to pay for
alternative health care, because they consider it
‘experimental’,” says Steven M. Hall, M.D. “However,
every aspect of your life affects your health.
Conventional medicine doesn’t take that into account.”
Nevertheless, Dr. Steve began integrating alternative
healing practices into his patient treatment plans with
dramatic results and can share why medical insurers,
big pharmaceutical companies and many physicians are
trying to deter these practices. Dr. Steven received
his medical degree from University of Utah School of
Medicine and has been practicing family medicine since
1985. He explores his insights into health care in his
book “The 7 Tools of Healing: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom
and Live the Life Your Soul Desires.” Contact him at
(425) 531-3684.

Contact him at (877)
680-8200 (CA); Arnoux@TotalHealthMasteryUSA.com

16. ==> Why Millennials Will Save the World

The generation born between 1982 and 2000 will
potentially inherit a huge global mess as they enter
their prime. And they will be in a position to save the
world from certain disaster. This enormous demographic
that now comprises more than one quarter of the U.S.
and world populations is more diverse, educated,
technologically advanced and independent-minded than
any previous generation. They also care deeply about
the environment and health of the planet. Author and
environmental engineer Yasmin Davar can provide a step-
by-step guide for these young future movers and shakers
that is simple, yet extremely powerful. She can
demonstrate how healing negative beliefs and
destructive thought patterns on the individual level
can lead to sustainable peace, prosperity and happiness
for the entire world! Yasmin holds a Master of
International Studies in Peace and Conflict Resolution
and the author of the book “Our Peaceful Planet:
Healing Ourselves and the World for a Sustainable
Future.” Contact her at yasmin@yasmindavar.com

17. ==> Interview the Undertaker’s Daughter

For most people, death is the final act of life. But
Margo Lenmark says that death can actually be the start
of a better life for loved ones left behind, which she
discovered while growing up in a Midwestern funeral
home where her dad was an undertaker. She shares her
fascinating experiences and insights in her newly
published book “Light in the Mourning: Memoirs of an
Undertaker’s Daughter.” “A person’s face in death
mirrors their living and their dying,” Margo says.
“This book speaks of both.” The book has received
glowing reviews from a number of prominent authors and
spiritual leaders including Deepak Chopra, who says,
“Life is not the opposite of death. It is birth and
death that are opposites. Life is the continuum of
birth and death eternally, and now.” Contact Margo at
(828) 260-0873; margolenmark1@gmail.com

18. ==> How the ‘Dad Deficit’ is Harming Society

Pastor Eric Hawthorne, a divorced single dad, claims
that there is a severe “fatherhood deficit” in modern
society. “I see young kids out on the street, doing
drugs because nine times out of 10, their fathers are
absent,” he says. As a dad of two boys aged 10 and 12,
Eric takes an old-fashioned, hands-on approach to
raising his kids. He adds, “I teach them to respect and
how to treat women. I teach them how to be responsible.
Every Saturday, I give them tasks such as cleaning,
doing dishes, making their beds. I also teach them
about responsible money management, and how to provide
for a family. I give them an allowance and teach them
how to save. It’s natural to them. I prepared them from
an early age.” Eric is the second-generation pastor of
Daystar Deliverance Ministries in Richardson, Texas,
and the author of the upcoming book “Are You Ready for
Marriage?” Contact him at (214) 785-7412;
PastorErichawthorne@gmail.com

19. ==> This Scientist Can Prove that God Exists

A recent article in Christianity Today states that
while most scientists are not anti-religion, contrary
to popular belief, the majority admittedly doesn’t
believe in God or a deity. But author David L. Peters
is the exception. An engineer by trade, who also
studied quantum physics and cosmology for several
years, David led a Roman Catholic diocesan movement for
many years, leads weekly spiritual groups and is very
active in his church. “From age 4, I was blessed with
the sense of God being ‘there’ throughout my life,”
says David, who is now 84. “Today, my faith comes
through science, as I firmly believe that quantum
physics has proven, to me, the existence of a power or
force behind all.” David further believes that we can
all apply the principles of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics
Anonymous to achieving joy in our everyday lives, which
he explains in his book “The 12 Steps to Joy and
Happiness: Finding the Kingdom of God that Lies
Within.” Contact him at (607) 725-8559;
davep434@gmail.com

20. ==> Eulogies: The Self-Help Tool of the Future

Life Coaches and therapists often recommend clients
write a “Bucket List” to help pinpoint what they want
to do before they die. Author, counselor, and
motivational speaker Elizabeth Trinkaus doesn’t have
clients focus on what they hope to do “someday.”
Instead, she has them write a eulogy that highlights
their personal and professional triumphs. A bucket list
emphasizes what you haven’t done, while a eulogy lists
all those achievements you’ve forgotten to acknowledge.
In a time when people measure themselves against
society’s superficial standards, reviewing one’s
successes provides a concrete basis upon which to build
future accomplishments. For more than 25 years,
Elizabeth Trinkaus has helped others overcome the
obstacles that prevent them from fulfilling their
potential. She has worked with professional groups and
individuals alike, and her straightforward, sensible
approach will inspire your listeners. She can be
contacted at (919) 368-0580.

1. ==> Trump’s Not Evil, He’s an Amateur

Historian Timothy Stanley says we need to stop saying
that Trump is an evil man. Stanley says the issue is
that he’s an amateur, which is one of the qualities
that won him votes. “Trump was elected as an anti-
politician who would disrupt a broken order and even
take risks. Sometimes they pay off: bringing Saudi
Arabia and Israel together and tempting Kim Jong Un out
from beneath his rock are all great steps forward.
Other times, the President finds himself underprepared
and out of his depth. Putin is a proven liar and
manipulator, and while Trump may well be a master of
deal-making, he simply isn’t operating at the level
Putin does.” Yet, Stanley says there’s no need for
panic. “Look beyond the sensationalized, Trump-style
rhetoric that everyone seems to indulge in nowadays to
the quiet, sober, behind-the-scenes truth.” Timothy is
a historian, journalist and broadcaster – specializing
in US history, politics and religion. He is the author
of “Citizen Hollywood: How the Collaboration Between LA
and DC Revolutionized American Politics” and writes for
the Daily Telegraph, the Catholic Herald, and CNN.

2. ==> Robots Are Here: Workers Must Adapt… or Else

We love technology, it’s fun and it makes our lives
easier. But is technology on a path that will soon make
it harder for you to make a living? Molly Kinder
explores the role of Artificial Intelligence in the
workplace in this month’s issue of Foreign Policy. She
writes that technological advances will produce both
winners and losers. “Some workers will lose their jobs.
A large share of workers will find their work changed,
sometimes dramatically; others will discover that their
skills are outdated. The cost of this adjustment will
not be distributed equally across countries,
communities, occupations, or skill levels. The
transition will be especially painful for the least
educated.” Molly Kinder is a senior advisor on work,
workers, and technology at New America; a fellow at
Georgetown University’s Beeck Center; and an adjunct
faculty member at Georgetown’s McCourt School of Public
Policy. A founding member of the Global Innovation
Fund, she served in the Obama administration as a
director at the U.S. Agency for International
Development’s Development Innovation Ventures program.

3. ==> ‘Beautifully Broken’: Interview Actor Benjamin
Onyango

The new film Beautifully Broken opens Aug. 24th, but
already the movie is getting huge buzz.

4. ==> Fun Show: Visit the ‘Secret’ Philadelphia

Founded in 1682, Philadelphia is one of the most
historic cities in the United States, the site of
critical battles and crucial decision making during the
country’s earliest years. Yet many of the millions of
annual visitors (42 million from the US alone in 2016)
know little more about the city than the Liberty Bell,
Rocky, and the fans who threw snowballs at Santa.
Invite Mary Dixon Lebeau, author of “Secret
Philadelphia”, to share the hidden side of the City of
Brotherly Love, one that’s weird, wonderful, and
obscure. From museums and murals to graveyards and
churches, your listeners will hear about off-beat
Philly adventures like exploring the cell where Al
Capone paid his debt to society or discovering the cave
of the first doomsday cult. Contact Don Korte at
dkorte@reedypress.com

5. ==> What Teachers Wish They Could Tell Parents

As the new school year inches closer many teachers are
already back in the classroom getting ready for
students… and their parents. Get a look at back-to-
school from a teacher’s perspective when you invite
Nancy Gretzinger to share what every teacher would like
parents to know about the upcoming school year. A
retired educator and administrator for over 40 years,
Gretzinger can discuss everything from school supplies
(don’t buy them until you get a list from the teacher!)
to handling classroom issues. You’ll also learn the
best way to communicate with teachers (don’t do it at
drop-off), and when you should consider holding off on
kindergarten for another year. Nancy Gretzinger, Ed.D.,
spent 43+ years in education including teaching,
administration at the building and district level and
teaching at the university level. She is also the
author of several books. Contact her at (480) 558-7457;

6. ==> Are You Ready for a Back-to-School Schedule?

As summer wanes and autumn approaches, parents
everywhere ready themselves for the frustration of
trying to get kids out of bed and off to school while
they ready themselves for the workday. Dr. Saundra
Dalton-Smith will discuss how adults and kids can more
easily reacclimate themselves from easygoing summer
schedules to the hectic rat race that begins in the

7. ==> ADHD Back to School Survival Tips

Getting into back-to-school mode is tough enough, but
if you’ve got a kid with ADHD it’s even harder. Invite
Kim Northup, an academic coach specializing in ADHD to
share strategies for a successful school year. She says
this is a great time to establish new routines and
organization and structure to help make managing
mornings, homework time, and extracurricular activities
more easily. “It’s also a time to think about setting
up partnership with school and teachers. Communications
binders, requesting evaluations, requesting
accommodations through IEP’s and section 504 plans are
all scary things for parents. Even college students are
eligible for help if they have an ADHD diagnosis.” Kim
Northup has ADHD and raised 2 children who also have
ADHD and other learning differences. She is a certified
special education teacher, certified advanced level
academic coach and a certified trainer in the Jack
Canfield success principles. Contact her at (817)
506-5995 or knorthup@adhdinstruction.com

8. ==> What Employee Benefit Do Most of Us Blow Off?

If your employer was willing to give you more than
$5,000 a year in financial assistance would you take
it? Apparently not. Only 5 percent of employees
eligible to receive tuition reimbursement from their
employers take advantage of the benefit. You’ll explore
the reasons why this is so with Barbara Plasker, Ed.D.,
as your guest. Barbara spent nine years as a career
advisor to adults returning to school when she worked
for a major university. She’ll inspire your audience to
consider heading back to school themselves and taking
advantage of that underutilized benefit. She’ll talk
about the fear that often holds adults back from
seeking more education and share her own story: her
undergraduate GPA was an underwhelming 2.44 yet she
went on to earn a master’s and doctorate. She’ll also
share the stories of other adults who transformed their
lives by going back to school. Barbara is the author of
“Simple Ways to Transform Your Life: Lessons Learned by
a Late Bloomer.” Reach her at (845) 368-4413;
barbaraplasker@live.com

9. ==> Social Security Turns 83 Today!

Today is the 83rd anniversary of Social Security.
Invite Nancy Altman, president of Social Security
Works, to discuss the biggest myths about the program,
like how it has grown much larger than the founders
intended. Altman says, “If President Roosevelt and his

10. ==> Could Ignoring Africa Endanger the World?

As the Middle East, North Korea, Russia, and China
dominate headlines in the West, will a lack of focus on
Africa prove to be a mistake that could endanger the
world? Author and speaker Sylvanus Ayeni warns of risks
to global security as the failed nations of Sub-Saharan
Africa can become fertile recruiting grounds for
terrorist organizations that are driven out of the
Middle East and elsewhere. This, in turn, impacts the
worsening of the refugee crisis in Europe and to a
lesser extent in North America. The poor healthcare
systems of these nations pose the threat of pandemics
like the Ebola virus in 2014/2015, which began in West
Africa. Ayeni, a retired neurosurgeon, was born and
raised in Nigeria. His new book, “Rescue Thyself:
Change in Sub-Saharan Africa Must Come from Within,”
reveals what many in the West don’t understand about
the root causes of Sub-Saharan Africa’s plight and the
necessary steps to improve the situation. Dr. Ayeni is
the president of Pan Africa Children Advocacy Watch
(PACAW) Inc. Contact him at (301) 910-1020 (MD);

12. ==> How Women Can Finally Break the Glass Ceiling

Despite that women are more empowered than ever before,
they still have a long way to go when it comes to
cracking the glass ceiling. This is especially true in
creative fields. Award-winning author and filmmaker
Kailin Gow has been on the frontlines of the women’s
empowerment movement for years and can share how she
overcame discrimination and harassment, despite the
“boys club” mentality of the book and film industries.
“Doors were not open to me when I became a pioneer in
digital book publishing and an indie female filmmaker,”
she says. “Less than 10 percent of directors are
female.” Kailin will share how she overcame numerous
obstacles, and how we can empower young women for
success. Kailin Gow is the founder of Sparklesoup Inc.,
an internationally recognized, multi-award-winning
bestselling author and director/filmmaker who has sold
over 5.5 million books. Her next book, “Kailin Gow’s Go
Girl Guide,” will be released in May. Contact her at

storytelling from her award-winning novel “Lady in the
Window” to her top-rated Hallmark Hall of Fame (CBS-TV)
movie ‘The Lost Valentine, starring Betty White and
Jennifer Love Hewitt, she knows how to craft a story

15. ==> Doc Reveals Why You Shouldn’t Get a Flu Shot

Riobe about all things flu related before the season
starts so they can prepare now! Dr. Riobe is the author
of “The Tao of Integrative Medicine.” She is a dynamic
progressive integrative medical doctor with over 15
years of experience. Contact Dr. Mylaine Riobe at (772)

16.==> Technology Is a Pain in the Neck!

Most of us spend too much time on our smartphones and
sitting in front of our laptops and tablets. We know
this is taking away from our face-to-face relationships
but what we probably don’t realize is that such
behavior also causes numbness, tingling, neck pain and
other painful symptoms. Let pain expert Anna Lee, M.D.,
explain what causes that pain and how to make it go
away. Dr. Lee is a board-certified pain management
physician who trained at Hahnemann and the University
of Pennsylvania. She is also the developer of an FDA-
approved pioneering pain relief treatment—one that
people from around the country are seeking out. Reach

17. ==> Neurosurgeon: How Positive Thoughts Protect
Your Brain and Body

Twenty-two years ago while he was a neurosurgery
resident, Mahmoud Rashidi, M.D., experienced an event
that would shape his life as a neurosurgeon: he was
diagnosed with a brain tumor that required surgery.
After making a full recovery, Rashidi has treated
thousands of neurosurgery patients. In the process, he
studied which qualities help patients recover and
discovered strategies anyone can use to improve their
brain health. Invite him to discuss the ways the brain
effects the body’s nervous system, hormones and more
and share how patients with positive attitudes about
their illnesses tend to get better faster. Mahmoud
Rashidi grew up in Iran and completed neurosurgery
training at the University of Toronto. In 2014, he
founded Mind Medicine LLC, a company dedicated to
researching, teaching, and promoting the compelling
answers to this question: How do our thoughts and
emotions affect our health and ability to heal? “Mind
Medicine” is his first book. Contact him at (707)

18. ==> Why You Should Have a Sex Therapist

Americans are having trouble in the bedroom! And
whether the problem involves lack of desire/excitement,
performance issues, pain, drug side effects, abuse,
body image or outright dysfunction — people should
realize there IS help. Interview psychotherapist/sex-
therapist Beatty Cohan, Ph.D., for her “Put Sizzle in
Your Sex Life” advice millions need. Beatty has already
helped people globally via her counseling, her best-
selling book “For Better, For Worse Forever: Discover

19. ==> How to Divorce-Proof Your Marriage

Half of all marriages in Western society end in
divorce. So how have pastor and Christian marriage
counselor Rev. George Sukhdeo and his wife, Shirley,
managed to remain happily married for 46 years? “We
have experienced almost every challenge couples face in
a marriage,” he says. “A marriage with Christ at its
center is much more than having someone to do the
dishes after dinner, take care of you when you’re sick,
or help you make the car payment every month.” Rev.
George is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal
Assemblies of Canada. He received a Master of Ministry
in Christian Counseling degree and a B.A. in theology
from Christian Bible College of Rocky Mount, N.C. He
has 34 years of experience in Christian ministries as a
pastor, Christian counselor and life coach, and has
counseled more than 500 couples, with an 85 percent
success rate. He is the author of the book “Preparing
for and Fostering Harmony in Marriage.” Contact him at

20. ==> 84 Yr. Old Reveals How to Achieve Success at
Any Age

At 84 years old, David L. Peters has had a successful
career as an engineer, 18 patents, co-owns a computer
graphics company, has a loving wife of 57 years, and
has written his first book. Despite his career in
science, he firmly credits his faith in God for his
continued success and taking on new ventures, despite
his age. “At 84, I have been blessed with a sense of
God ‘being there’ from age 4,” he says. “My life has
been filled with unbelievable synchronicities, all
based upon my unwavering belief and trust in the
goodness of God.” David further attests that beliefs
rooted in science and a deity are not mutually
exclusive. “My faith comes through science, as I firmly

1. ==> Social Security Turns 83: What Would FDR Think?

August 14th is the 83rd anniversary of Social Security.
Invite Nancy Altman, president of Social Security
Works, to discuss the biggest myths about the program,
like how it has grown much larger than the founders
intended. Altman says, “If President Roosevelt and his
colleagues were alive today, they would certainly
recognize Social Security as fully consistent with
their intent and their vision. They would undoubtedly
be shocked, though, that so little progress has been
made in the decades since 1935 when they laid down, in

The trial would become the first
nationally televised courtroom case, transfixing the
nation with details about a scandalous murder, a tawdry
affair and teenage assassins. In a special 3-night TV
event beginning August 19th, Investigation Discovery
looks back at one of the most notorious crimes of the
century in ‘Pamela Smart: An American Murder Mystery.’
Interview Diane Dimond, one of the experts featured in
the series. Diane is an investigative journalist and TV
news mainstay who covered the Pamela Smart case for
Newsweek and The Daily Beast. She can weigh in with her
thoughts on the murder case and trial and any new
details uncovered in this documentary series. Contact
John Angelo at john@premieretv.com.

3. ==> PGA Weekend – Why Do 24 Million People Find Golf
So Fascinating?

Today through Sunday (Aug. 9th through Aug. 12th)
coverage of the PGA Championship at Bellerive Golf
Course in St. Louis will be in the news and on screens
everywhere. There will be buzz about Tiger Woods’
return to the course and whether Dustin Johnson, Jason
Day or Tommy Fleetwood will win, of course. Yet it also
offers the opportunity to talk about golf in larger
terms: Why do people find it so fascinating? Why do
people who don’t golf still like to watch it on TV? In
what ways is golf a metaphor for life? What life
lessons can golf teach even non-golfers? Andre Huu,
author of “The Round of Your Life,” can answer those
questions. Andre is a high handicap golfer and former
physical therapist who is convinced that everyone
should be keeping score on and off the course because
life is not a practice round. Reach him at (832)

4. ==> Why You Should Have a Sex Therapist

Americans are having trouble in the bedroom! And
whether the problem involves lack of desire/excitement,
performance issues, pain, drug side effects, abuse,
body image or outright dysfunction — people should
realize there IS help. Interview psychotherapist/sex-
therapist Beatty Cohan, Ph.D., for her ‘Put Sizzle in

5. ==> B-T-S Warning: Heavy Backpacks Lower Grades &
Self-Esteem

It’s back to school season and parents everywhere are
going shopping for supplies but Bob Prichard says you
should think twice about picking up a big backpack for
your kid. About 18 years ago, Prichard, who runs the
Somax Performance Institute, noticed many young
athletes came to his swim camps with lower-than-
expected chest expansion. But more surprising was that
after increasing their chest expansion and vital
capacity, the positive benefits went beyond sports and
included better grades. Prichard says, “It’s all about
increasing oxygen to the brain! Low brain oxygen can
affect everything from cognition to mood and even
motivation.” The swimmers linked their low chest
expansion to heavy backpacks that became popular in the
90s, and because the condition is silent and lasts
forever without treatment, millions of children – and
their parents — may be suffering low brain oxygen and
not even know it. Prichard will share a simple way to
measure chest expansion, how to increase it, and the
many benefits of increasing brain oxygen at any age.

Brain of Oxygen?” Contact him at (415) 435-9880 (CA);

6. ==> Fear Keeps Adults from Going Back to School

Back-to-School isn’t just for kids and their parents.
It’s also for adults who want to get ahead or move into
new careers. Even late bloomers! Barbara Plasker,
Ed.D., spent nine years as a career advisor to adults
returning to school when she worked for a major
university. She’ll inspire your audience to consider
heading back to school themselves including pointing
out that many employers offer tuition assistance that
few employees actually take advantage of. She’ll talk
about the fear that often holds adults back from
seeking more education and share her own story: her
undergraduate GPA was an underwhelming 2.44 yet she
went on to earn a master’s and doctorate. She’ll also
share the stories of other adults who went on to
transform their lives by going back to school. Barbara
is the author of “Simple Ways to Transform Your Life:
Lessons Learned by a Late Bloomer.” Reach her at (845)

7. ==> Are Natural Disasters Occurring More Frequently?

Devastating wildfires. Damaging hurricanes. Major
earthquakes. Are these disasters truly becoming more
frequent and more deadly? Or are we just paying
attention in new ways? Dr. Robin Burk has the answer.
She can prepare your audience on what to do before
disaster hits. Dr. Burk is an expert on the hidden
vulnerabilities of our global, tech-driven world and on
the steps we can take to mitigate unraveling when
disaster strikes. The best-selling author, consultant
and TEDx speaker has appeared on MSNBC, podcasts, on
over 50 radio stations in multiple countries, and in
print, including in Wired. Reach her at (703) 346.4448;

8. ==> Talk to the Man Who’s Fireproofing Neverland
Ranch

Why are celebrities getting their homes fireproofed?
You would, too, if your home were literally directly in
the line of fire. Last year, California wildfires
caused $160 billion worth of damage. Right now, the
largest wildfire in California history is currently
decimating hundreds of thousands of acres. Californian
entrepreneur Jim Moseley has repurposed a fire-proofing
material used by NASA as a powerful line of defense
against the conflagration. Has he found a fool-proof
way to fireproof our property and our natural
resources? Jim Moseley will talk about the wildfires of
2017, discuss preparations for the season ahead, and
how he realized the solution to the problem could be
found in existing technology. Featured on the May cover
of Malibu Times magazine, Jim Moseley can be reached at
(818) 486-4662; jim@SunFireDefense.com

9. ==> Former Miss America Contestant Says Feminists
Have it all Wrong

The battle over Miss America 2.0 continues. 30 former
Miss Americas have come out in support of changes in
the pageant for 2019, including dropping the swimsuit
competition, but officials at the state level are livid
over the changes and have called for the resignation of
the board and Chairman Gretchen Carlson. Former Miss
America contestant Jane Jenkins Herlong agrees.
“Gretchen Carlson has connected an almost 100-year-old
tradition with the #MeToo movement. Miss America is not
about #MeToo, but Gretchen (who had a big job at Fox
News) has connected her career or loss of a career with
the Miss America Pageant. It is obvious that she has an
agenda.” Jane can share her fascinating pageant
experiences and reveal why she thinks that feminists
have it all wrong when it comes to overhauling this 97-
year-old institution. She is the author of four books
including “Rhinestones on My Flip-Flops.” A sought-
after speaker who was inducted into the Speaker Hall of
Fame, Jane is also a gifted singer who has recorded
music CDs, and humor/personal growth DVDs. As a
humorist, her comedy is featured on Sirius XM 97.

10. ==> The Real ‘Dreamers’ of Immigration

TV news is dominated by images of illegal immigrants
being detained as politicians and pundits argue the
rights of those flooding into the US without visas, but
what about the people trying to enter the US legally?
Jonathon Dunne is a writer, speaker, and host on The
Blaze Radio Network who has been trying to come to the
US legally for 14 years. He’ll reveal the side of
immigration that most Americans have never heard and
explain why the system is encouraging so many to come
to the US illegally by rewarding bad behavior. He says
those who try to respect America’s laws are ignored and
receive no help while those who overstay their visas or
enter illegally are hailed as “dreamers.” In 2017 Dunne
was offered a full-time position with Glenn Beck but
lack of a college degree and relevant paid work
experience kept him out of the US. Despite this
rejection, he continues to promote the American’s
ideals of maximum freedom and maximum responsibility on
his weekly program, Freedom’s Disciple. Dunne has been
featured by The Glenn Beck Program, The Chris Salcedo
Show, Bill Martinez Live, and others. Contact him at
011-35-385-200-7306 (Ireland); JD@freedomsdisciple.com

11. ==> Renewable Energy is NOT the Best Option

Most of us go about our daily routines not thinking too
deeply about energy and fuel emissions. We obey the
pollution laws and try to use popular media information
to do our bit for green lifestyle and eco-friendly
choices. Unfortunately, Tim Maloney says some of the
advice we get from our media is wrong. That’s
especially true about the merits of renewable energy.
Invite Maloney to discuss a fascinating case in point,
the updated China policy regarding national energy
additions through year 2050. With little media
attention, Chinese leaders are de-emphasizing their own
solar and wind construction (but not activity in world
export markets), and replacing renewables with a vastly
expanded nuclear fleet. Their new policy is considered
necessary for dealing with the disastrous state of
their environment, especially air and water quality.
Why China’s change of heart? And what are the
implications for U.S. planning? Tim Maloney has the
answers in his book “Roadmap to Nowhere.” Contact him
at t.maloney@bex.net

12. ==> Former Mistress Tells Her Side

For more than 30 years and until his death, Patti Houtz
was the mistress of an important man more than twice
her age—a man with five children. Yet she’s not the
least bit ashamed of that; in fact, she is even friends
with her lover’s widow. Invite Houtz on air to talk
about the adventures of life as a mistress and why she
says affairs are not always about sex. She can also
reveal what mistresses wish wives knew and how to
affair-proof your marriage. In her upcoming memoir
“Solo By Choice,” she talks about her life as a
mistress, her decision to live free from marriage and
children and more. Reach Patti at (775) 376-1676;
patriciahoutz@solobychoice.com

13. ==> Doc Says the Opioid Epidemic Shouldn’t Have
Happened

Much has been said about how to eliminate the opioid
epidemic. But only Anna Lee, M.D., says opioids should
never have been popular to begin with! As Dr. Lee will
tell your audience, like most pain treatments, opioids
do not address the root cause of pain. She’ll say that
pain originates from nerve injuries—not in the muscles
and bones that most treatments focus on. Then she’ll
explain that there is an FDA-approved method for
treating pain that could single-handedly lead millions
of people to pain-free lives. But first, they need to
hear about it and have a chance to try it. Dr. Lee is
the only person in the world who can talk about this as
she is the developer of the groundbreaking treatment.
Anna Lee trained at Hahnemann and the University of
Pennsylvania. Reach her at (201) 925-0315;

14. ==> Why You Need to Quit Your Smart Phone

When is the last time you spent time with friends or
family without checking your phone? Is your texting
habit jeopardizing your relationships and ruining your
career? Tamara Dorris says that every time you receive
a text or get a response on social media, your brain
secretes dopamine, igniting a pleasure center that
makes the rewards of checking your phone addictive. An
author and certified hypnotherapist, Tamara will talk
about resisting the chemical reactions that occur in
the brain when our phones go “ding” to signal new
messages. An adjunct professor and conflict-resolution
expert, she’ll reveal strategies to resist your phone’s
siren song, and curb behavior that may be harming you.
Tamara, whose expertise includes the science behind the
power of the mind, has been quoted in Seventeen, Weight
Watchers, O Magazine, Wall Street Journal, and more.
Her television appearances include Sacramento & Company
and Good Day Sacramento. She can be reached at (916)
482-5834.

15. ==> Your Heirs Will Lose 70% of Your Wealth

It is a historically proven statistic that 70% of
family wealth is lost each time it passes to the next
generation, and completely gone at the end of the third
generation. Why? Because it is a scientific law called
entropy, the fact that everything in the universe is in
a state of deterioration. That includes families and
family wealth. Working with high-net-worth families for
25 years, Kip Kolson can explain how financial and
family coaching can help families develop a shared
vision, mission, and purpose. You hear how to grow and
protect family wealth and ensure the next generations
can realize their financial needs and dreams. Kip
Kolson is president of Family Wealth Leadership, a
multi-family office and family coaching firm. He is the
author of “You Can Have It All; Wealth, Wisdom, and
Purpose–Strategies for Creating a Lasting Legacy and
Strong Family.” Contact him at (949) 468-2000;

16. ==> Who Shot Ya? Flashback to the 90s

The 1990s seemed like a fun era, the hip clothes,
music, games, and lifestyle, so much so, that many
people are throwing 90s parties now to remember the
best of that decade. Although it’s great to highlight
the fun from the era, let’s not forget the tragedies as
well. Racial tensions were heightened in the 90s and
America was defined by racism. Memories of horrific
experiences and cops killing innocent people hasn’t
changed much today. If you simply scroll through the
news you will find at least one article describing a
violent encounter based on race. Statista states 325
black people were shot and killed by officers in the
U.S. in 2017-2018. Invite Nita Wiggins to describe her
own racial encounters in the 1990s and how those
experiences led her to create a program called the Race
Relations Reconstruction. She’ll discuss why history
should not repeat itself and how we can make changes to
better our future. Nita Wiggins’ upcoming book is
“Civil Rights Baby.” Contact her at
nitadallas@yahoo.com

17. ==> Why Medical Insurers Don’t Cover Alternative
Health Care

While many patients in Western society have discovered
the benefits of combining traditional Western and
alternative healing practices into their treatment
plans, insurance companies still stubbornly refuse to
cover the latter. “They don’t want to pay for
alternative health care, because they consider it
insurance fraud,” says Steven M. Hall, M.D. “However,
every aspect of your life affects your health.
Traditional medicine doesn’t take that into account.”

18. ==> I D.A.R.E. You NOT to use Drugs and Try Natural
Healing

According to recent estimates, 1-in-3 Americans used
prescription drugs to heal pain in 2015. Prescription
drugs can be expensive, addictive, and lead many people
into debt and drug abusive. Millions of people suffer
from some kind of physical pain and not everyone wants
to use drugs to cure it. There are many natural healing
alternatives but Dawn Crystal offers a unique healing
method that can heal pain by simply the sound of her
voice! She has been on Dr. Oz and other major networks
discussing how she heals people in just minutes. No
more medication is needed with her unique method of
natural healing. Contact her to hear and be healed at

19. ==> One Simple Trait that Can Lead to Success
Beyond Your Wildest Dreams

What are the secrets to success? Fame? Money? Power?
Physical beauty? None of the above, says best-selling
author Kim Chestney. She credits a trait all people
have, but may not even be aware of: Intuition!
“Intuition is the most important, yet least understood

20. ==> Forget About a Bucket List — Write Your Own
Eulogy!

Life Coaches and therapists often recommend clients
write a “Bucket List” to help pinpoint what they want
to do before they die. Author, counselor, and
motivational speaker Elizabeth Trinkaus doesn’t have
clients focus on what they hope to do “someday.”
Instead, she has them write a eulogy that highlights
their personal and professional triumphs. A bucket list
emphasizes what you haven’t done, while a eulogy lists
all those achievements you’ve forgotten to acknowledge.
In a time when people measure themselves against
society’s superficial standards, reviewing one’s
successes provides a concrete basis upon which to build
future accomplishments. For more than 25 years,
Elizabeth Trinkaus has helped others overcome the
obstacles that prevent them from fulfilling their
potential. She has worked with professional groups and
individuals alike, and her straightforward, sensible
approach will inspire your listeners. Contact her at

1. ==> Can We Trust Facebook or Twitter?

This week Facebook said it had shut down eight pages,
17 profiles and seven Instagram accounts that violated
its “ban on coordinated inauthentic behavior.” But some
say the move is creating an enormous gray area where
the authenticity of speech, protest, patriotism and any
other kind of belief and intent is a matter of opinion.
James Freeman writes in the Wall Street Journal, “If
Silicon Valley isn’t careful it could destroy perhaps
the greatest business model of all time. Campaigns by
social media companies to disinfect American
conversation may do more harm to the companies and
their customers than to Russia’s effort to influence
and disrupt American democracy.” He adds, “If big
social media companies now seek to become the
gatekeepers of public discussion, how much content will
users be inclined to generate?” James Freeman is
assistant editor of The Wall Street Journal’s editorial
page and author of the weekday Best of the Web column
and newsletter. He writes about business, finance and
taxes among other issues, and is a contributor to the
FOX News Channel. Contact him at James.Freeman@wsj.com,
@FreemanWSJ

2. ==> What’s the True Cost of ‘Medicare for All’?

While a Koch-backed think-tank’s report highlights the
high cost of ‘Medicare for All’ two distinguished
professors say the report actually shows that a single-
payer health care system would offset those costs with
even greater savings. Drs. David Himmelstein and
Steffie Woolhandler have written an analysis of the
work of the think tank which says, “The Mercatus
Center’s estimate of the cost of implementing Sen.
Bernie Sanders’ Medicare for All Act (M4A) projects
outlandish increases in the utilization of medical
care, ignores vast savings under single-payer reform,
and fails to even mention the extensive and well-
documented evidence on single-payer systems in other
nations — which all spend far less per person on health
care than we do. Moreover, the Mercatus Center admits
that universal first dollar coverage under Sen.
Sanders’ bill would cause little increase in the
nation’s total health expenditures; it would merely
shift expenditures from private to public sources.”
Himmelstein and Woolhandler are distinguished
professors of health policy at the City University of
New York at Hunter College and lecturers in medicine at
Harvard Medical School. Contact them at
himmelhandler@comcast.net, @swoolhandler

3. ==> How the Qur’an and Bible Are Intrinsically
Connected

While the Hebrew Bible and the New Testament are
understood to be related texts, the sacred scripture of
Islam, the third Abrahamic faith, has generally been
considered separately. But noted religious scholar
Notre Dame Theologian Gabriel Said Reynolds says these
holy books are intrinsically connected. Invite him to
provide your listeners a new lens through which to view
the powerful links that bond these three major
religions. Reynolds will demonstrate how Jewish and
Christian characters, imagery, and literary devices
feature prominently in the Qur’an, including stories of
angels bowing before Adam and of Jesus speaking as an
infant. As Muslims across the world celebrate the
religious holiday of Eid al-Adha later this month,
Reynolds can also explain the holiday and how it is
celebrated around the world. Gabriel Said Reynolds is
professor of Islamic studies and theology at the
University of Notre Dame. He is the author of “The
Qur’an and the Bible: Text and Commentary.” Contact
Johanna Ramos-Boyer at (703) 646-5137 or Erin Bolden at
(703) 646-5188

4. ==> Interview Aerial Photog for Nat Geo’s
Yellowstone Live

For four days starting Aug. 5th, National Geographic
Yellowstone Live will take viewers on a breathtaking
journey inside one of America’s most remote and
precious parklands, Yellowstone National Park. Emmy
Award-winning cinematographer David Alan Arnold, a
member of the elite production team, is available for
interviews about the challenges of filming live in the
remote wilderness—where anything can happen and the
odds of being rescued are just as remote. Arnold can
talk about the wildlife he expects to see, the dangers
he will face and more. Arnold has been a helicopter
cameraman for 22 years. He has worked on such shows as
Survivor, Deadliest Catch and Celebrity Apprentice. He
is the author of “Help from Above: How I Went from
Sweeping the Floor to Painting the Sky.” He is a self-
described daredevil who is convinced that playing it
safe is the most dangerous thing anyone can do. Reach
him at (818) 512-8981; airbornecamera@me.com

5. ==> The Surprising Reason Your Student’s Backpack is
a Health Hazard

It’s back to school season and parents everywhere are
going shopping for supplies but Bob Prichard says you
should think twice about picking up a big backpack for
your kid. About 18 years ago, Prichard, who runs the
Somax Performance Institute, noticed many young
athletes came to his swim camps with lower-than-
expected chest expansion. But more surprising was that
after increasing their chest expansion and vital
capacity, the positive benefits went beyond sports and
included better grades. Prichard says, “It’s all about
increasing oxygen to the brain! Low brain oxygen can
affect everything from cognition to mood and even
motivation.” The swimmers linked their low chest
expansion to heavy backpacks that became popular in the
90s, and because the condition is silent and lasts
forever without treatment, millions of children – and
their parents — may be suffering low brain oxygen and
not even know it. Prichard will share a simple way to
measure chest expansion, how to increase it, and the
many benefits of increasing brain oxygen at any age.
Bob Prichard is the author of “Are You Robbing Your
Brain of Oxygen?” Contact him at (415) 435-9880 (CA);

6. ==> Are Your Kids in the Best School for Them?

Are your kids in the right school? Sometimes it’s hard
to know. Lee Jenkins, creator of “The Perfect School,”
understands this and will share 15 questions every
parent should be asking their kids before a new school
year begins. As a former educator and administrator
both in public schools and universities, Lee saw the
need for a new way to teach – one that keeps that
‘intrinsic motivation’ alive from kindergarten through
12th grade. “What most parents don’t realize is that
motivation is made up of both will and thrill. Are your
kids working hard and loving the process?” Jenkins
says, “Chances are they aren’t!” Lee Jenkins is the
author of “Permission to Forget” and the upcoming “The
Perfect School.” He consults and writes full time with
his firm LtoJ Consulting Group, Inc. Contact him at

7. ==> You Aren’t Zuckerberg or Gates… Go to Grad
School Already!

Mark Zuckerberg and Bill Gates found career success
without a college degree, but their stories are the
exception, not the rule. Today a graduate degree has
replaced a bachelor’s degree as the educational
requirement for many employers. Interview Dr. Don
Martin and Kevin Kiley to learn why now is the best
time to think about going to grad school. Find out the
biggest mistake graduate school applicants make and 7
questions you need to ask yourself before applying to
grad school. Dr. Don Martin was the admissions dean at
three top-tier universities and in three different
disciplines, and is the author of “Road Map for
Graduate Study: A Guide for Prospective Students.”
Kevin Kiley has served as admissions director in a top-
tier MBA program. They have successfully coached
hundreds of individuals through the graduate school
application process and together have over 50 years of
graduate admissions experience. Contact Dr. Martin at

Kiley at (314) 562-2426; kevin@careerroadmap.com

8. ==> Back-to-School Isn’t Just for Kids

10. ==> Former Miss America Contestant Says the New
Pageant is ‘The Death of Excellence’

Former ugly duckling Jane Jenkins Herlong grew up to be
such a lovely swan that she became a Miss America
contestant. And she is not happy with the new version
of the competition, including the elimination of the
swimsuit contest. “Being physically fit is one of the
standards of excellence,” Jane says. “Day by day, our
country is becoming more inclusive to the point of the
danger of complacency. The Miss America Pageant is the
latest target.” Jane can share her fascinating pageant
experiences and reveal why she thinks that feminists
have it all wrong when it comes to overhauling this 97-
year-old institution. She is the best-selling author of
four books including her latest “Rhinestones on My
Flip-Flops.” A sought-after speaker who was inducted
into the Speaker Hall of Fame, Jane is a gifted singer
who has recorded music CDs, and humor/personal growth
DVDs. As a humorist, her comedy is featured on Sirius
XM 97. Contact her at janejenkinsherlong@gmail.com or
(803) 480-1190.

11. ==> Can Your 401k Help You Find True Love?

Conventional wisdom is to marry for love, not money,
but can you do both? Financial advisor John Miller is a
single guy looking for love but also for a lady who
either knows about investing or wants to know about
investing. When he searched online he couldn’t find any
dating websites that were financially oriented, so he
started one himself! He says, “Both women and men want
a financially secure partner, especially in today’s
tough economy. Those who join this website are looking
to meet an attractive, financially motivated partner.”
Invite him to share his advice on what to look for when
you’re looking for love AND money. His book, “The
Coming Gold, Silver, and Block-Chain Share Explosion!”,
reveals how Americans can protect and build their life
savings. Your audience can get a free Kindle download
of his book by visiting his website. Miller has been
featured by the Mancow Morning Show, the Joe Bartlett
Show, Late Night in the Midland, the Financial Survival
Network, the Phil Hulett Show, and other radio shows
nationwide. Contact him at (727) 564-9416 (FL);

12. == > Summer is the Best Time to Reimagine Your
Career

Before the lazy, hazy days of summer expire, business
coach Paula Black says you should take advantage of one
of the summer’s greatest strengths: the opportunity to
slow down and reflect on whether your career is being
guided by you or is on automatic pilot. Black will
share tips for listeners who want to stop doing what
they think they should be doing and focus on what they
want to do. From analyzing your choices to taking
inventory and getting out of your own head, she’ll help
show listeners a way out of their miserable existence.
Through her coaching business, Paula Black has advised
lawyers, accountants, financial advisors, media
professionals, real estate professionals and small
business owners on finding harmony between work,
family, and play. She is the author of the Little Black
Book series, which includes “A Lawyers Guide to
Creating a Life, Not Just a Living.” Contact her at
(305) 859-9554; paula@paulablack.com

13. ==> How Dads Can Empower Daughters to Fight Sexual
Harassment

Women have traditionally represented the highest
percentage of consumers of books about love, marriage,
parenting and other seemingly feminine topics. However,
best-selling author of female empowerment titles Kailin
Gow has made a surprising discovery. “Men are also
followers of mine,” she says. “I am finding out that
men are reading books normally geared toward women
because there is a lack of books for men, such as
parenting books.” Thus, Kailin has released a book
especially for dads: “Raising Strong Daughters: What
Fathers Should Know.” She can share how dads can help
to empower their daughters in the age of the #MeToo
movement, school violence and other challenging life
situations young girls experience. Kailin is a long-
time female empowerment advocate, the founder of
Sparklesoup Inc., an internationally recognized, multi-
award-winning bestselling author who has sold over 5.5
million books, and director/filmmaker. She also is the
author of the recently released “Kailin Gow’s Go Girl
Guide.” Contact her at sparklesoup@aol.com, or (949)

14. ==> What to Do in August So You Won’t Get the Flu
in October

Why does each flu season feel worse than the year
before? “That’s because it is!” says Mylaine Riobe, MD,
FACOG, an integrative medicine doctor who has spent
years treating her patients using a unique blend of
functional and traditional Chinese medicine. This last
flu season killed the most children in five years and
had a second wave hitting us late.
Riobe about all things flu related BEFORE the season
starts so they can prepare now! Dr. Riobe is the author
of “The Tao of Integrative Medicine.” She is a dynamic
progressive integrative medical doctor with over 15
years of experience. Contact her at (772) 285-7788;
mylaineriobe@comcast.net

15. ==> This M.D. Reveals the Shocking Truth About
Alternative Health Care

While many patients in Western society have discovered
the benefits of combining traditional Western and
alternative healing practices into their treatment
plans, insurance companies still stubbornly refuse to
cover the latter. “They don’t want to pay for
alternative health care, because they consider it
insurance fraud,” says Steven M. Hall, M.D. “However,
every aspect of your life affects your health.
Traditional medicine doesn’t take that into account.”

16. ==> He Saved His Dying Wife by Ignoring Her
Doctors’ Advice

When Anthony Randle’s wife Jessica was diagnosed with
stage four breast cancer, her doctors told her she
could eat and do whatever she wanted while undergoing
aggressive treatments. But after having a poignant
dream about his late grandmother who was an energy
healer, he discovered little known holistic ways to
expedite Jessica’s recovery. “I did my own research and
found that sugar feeds cancer, so we eliminated that
from her diet,” he says. “She also started doing
aikido, and the healing started from there.” As a
result, Jessica sailed through chemo with very few
nasty side effects, and is now cancer free! He shares
his poignant experiences in his acclaimed book “The
True Story of a Husband, A Best Friend and Care Giver:
The Struggle Within,” and can reveal how he and his
wife made it through this traumatic experience
healthier and happier than ever. Contact him at
arandle1076@ gmail.com; (702) 533-6667.

17. ==> Are You in Love with Your Smart Phone?

When is the last time you spent time with friends or
family without checking your phone? Is your texting
habit jeopardizing your relationships and ruining your
career? Author Tamara Dorris says that every time you
receive a text or get a response on social media, your
brain secretes dopamine, igniting a pleasure center
that makes the rewards of checking your phone
addictive. An author and certified hypnotherapist,
Tamara will talk about resisting the chemical reactions
that occur in the brain when our phones go “ding” to
signal new messages. An adjunct professor and conflict-
resolution expert, she’ll reveal strategies to resist
your phone’s siren song and curb behavior that may be
harming you. Tamara, whose expertise includes the
science behind the power of the mind, has been quoted
in Seventeen, Weight Watchers, O Magazine, Wall Street
Journal, and more. Her television appearances include
Sacramento & Company and Good Day Sacramento. She can
be reached at (916) 482-5834.

18. ==> Summer Heat is Ruff On Pets

Summer isn’t over yet and there’s plenty of heat yet to
come in the next few weeks. While you probably know how
to keep yourself healthy in the heat, you may not know
how to take care of those that can’t take care of
themselves—your pets. Animal-Human health expert Carlyn
Montes De Oca will share five lifesaving tips to keep
your animal friends cool and comfortable this summer.
She’ll also share the many ways dogs are the best
health and wellness gurus we have, like helping us get
fit to unplugging and learning to be in the moment.

Doctor, Cat as My Nurse: An Animal Lover’s Guide to a
Healthy, Happy & Extraordinary Life.” Contact her at

19. ==> How Faith Can Help You Live a Long, Successful
Life

At 84 years old, David L. Peters has had a successful
career as an engineer. He’s got 18 patents, co-owns a
computer graphics company, has a loving wife of 57
years, and has written his first book. Despite his
career in science, he firmly credits his faith in God
for his continued success and taking on new ventures,
despite his age. “At 84, I have been blessed with a
sense of God ‘being there’ from age 4,” he says. “My
life has been filled with unbelievable synchronicities,
all based upon my unwavering belief and trust in the
goodness of God.” David further attests that beliefs
rooted in science and a deity are not mutually
exclusive. “My faith comes through science, as I firmly
believe that quantum physics has proven the existence
of a higher power.” David L. Peters is the author of
“The 12 Steps to Joy and Happiness: Finding the Kingdom
of God that Lies Within.” Contact him at
davep434@gmail.com or (607) 725-8559.

20. ==> The Often-Ignored Trait that Leads to
Unimaginable Success

What are the secrets to success? Fame? Money? Power?
Physical beauty? None of the above, says best-selling
author Kim Chestney. She credits a trait all people
have, but may not even be aware of: Intuition!
“Intuition is the most important, yet least understood
faculty of human consciousness.” Kim says. “Getting
your ego out of the way and developing your inner voice
can facilitate well-being and growth in all aspects of
your life.” Kim has spent 20 years helping tens of
thousands of people empower their lives and live their
truth with intuition. She can share how your listeners
can tap into this innate trait to achieve success in
every aspect of their lives. Kim is an international
best-selling author and artist who founded the popular

Masterclass is launching this fall as part of the debut
of her global online school, Intuition Lab. Contact her

21. ==> Former Mistress Tells Her Side

For more than 30 years and until his death, Patti Houtz
was the mistress of an important man more than twice
her age—a man with five children. Yet she’s not the
least bit ashamed of that; in fact, she is even friends
with her lover’s widow. Invite Houtz on air to talk
about the satisfactions of life as a mistress and why
she says affairs are not about sex. She can also reveal
what mistresses wish wives knew and how to affair-proof
your marriage. In her upcoming memoir “Solo By Choice,”
she talks about her life as a mistress, her decision to
live free from marriage and children and more. Reach

1. ==> The Plot to Attack Iran

In a detailed and strongly worded speech this week
against Iran’s leaders and their legitimacy, Secretary
of State Mike Pompeo signaled an extraordinarily tough
policy by the Trump administration in dealing with them
and what he called “40 years of kleptocracy.” But Dan
Kovalik says the campaign to erode support for Iran is
a distraction from the issue of Russia. “Pompeo’s
claims about Iran and its neighbors simply reflect
little understanding of the history of the country or
the region. For the past 100 years, Iran has been
subjected to military aggression from its neighbors,
experiencing military occupation during both World
Wars. After the Islamic Revolution of 1979, it went
through eight years of war, defending itself from
Saddam Hussein and the MEK — the latter which, despite
assassinating 17,000 Iranians and even several
Americans as well, have now developed a strong
relationship with Pompeo and Trump’s National Security
Advisor, John Bolton.” Kovalik is author of the new
book “The Plot to Attack Iran: How the CIA and the Deep
State Have Conspired to Vilify Iran.” He teaches
international human rights at the University of
Pittsburgh School of Law. Contact him at
DKovalik@usw.org, @danielmkovalik

2. ==> Who’s Afraid of Sharks? Not this Couple

Every July the Discovery Channel declares “Shark Week”
and viewers eat it up! Invite underwater and wildlife
filmmakers (and scuba divers) Cathryn Castle Garcia and
her husband Gui (rhymes with sea) to share their tales
of swimming with sharks. Cathryn says sharks can teach
us a lot about perseverance and character. “Sharks are
not vicious man-eaters. In fact, they put a lot of
thought into selecting prey. Sometimes they get it
wrong. But it’s a case of mistaken identity, not
murder. Humans get it wrong, too. We are far more
dangerous to sharks than sharks are to us. We’ve
overfished practically every shark species into
critical numbers.” Invite the Garcias to discuss their
experiences with sharks including diving with great
whites in Australia, tiger sharks and Caribbean reef
sharks in the Bahamas, and the time they each survived
a shark bite. Cathryn Castle Garcia and Gui Garcia of
C2G2 Productions are the authors of “Ocean Metaphor:
Unexpected Life Lessons from the Sea,” due out this
fall. Contact them at (541) 490-2324;

3. ==> Interview Celebrity Stylist and Actress GooGoo
Atkins

Thomasina “GooGoo” Atkins has been a celebrity stylist
for over a decade dressing clients like Neicy Nash,
Lisa Raye and Laila Ali, but you might recognize her as
the younger sister of musicians Erica and Tina Campbell
from the reality show, Mary on WEtv. Invite GooGoo on
your show to find out what it’s like dressing
celebrities, style tips for every size body, and talk
about her move from behind the scenes to in front of
the camera. GooGoo plays the no nonsense judge in the
upcoming film, “Beautifully Broken.” The movie hits
theaters on August 24th and is based on a true story
about two men and how they protect and support their
families. The men, Randy Hartley and William Mwizerwa,
form an unlikely, unique and inspiring friendship that
was born out of nightmarish tragic experience. This
touching film has received positive reviews from
consumers during advanced screenings and the media.
GooGoo currently stars in TV One’s, We’re the
Campbells. Contact Michelle Huff Elliott or Shemika
Harmitt at michelle@strategicheights.com;
shemika@strategicheights.com or (212) 634-7176.

4. ==> The Role of Passion and Persistence in Success

Explore the science of why some people succeed and
others fail, and why talent alone doesn’t guarantee
success with Angela Duckworth and learn how
perseverance and passion matter at least as much as
talent and intelligence. From the campus of West Point
to classrooms in San Francisco, from the National
Spelling Bee stage to the practice facility of the NFL
champion Seattle Seahawks, Angela will take listeners
across the country to illuminate our fascination with
achievement, and spotlight those who are living gritty
lives. Angela Duckworth is an academic, psychologist
and popular science author. She’s the founder and CEO
of Character Lab, a nonprofit organization with the
mission of advancing the science and practice of
character development. She is also a MacArthur “genius”
grant winner and the author of “GRIT: The Power of
Passion and Perseverance.” Contact Johanna Ramos-Boyer
at (703) 646-5137 or Erin Bolden at (703) 646-5188

5. ==> ‘The Shiggy’ Goes Viral and Gets Dangerous

There’s a viral video challenge popping up all over
social media, where people are opening their car doors
while the car is still motion. Drake’s ‘In My Feelings’
challenge has taken over the Internet and become the
latest dance craze as people post videos doing ‘The
Shiggy.’ But the move is dangerous, and now videos are
going viral of participants showing off their moves
until it goes terribly wrong. The videos show people
falling out of cars into the street, cars hitting
people while dancing, and cars even being taken while
people turn their backs to bust a move. Invite Dr. John
Huber to talk about the craze, why people do stupid
things, and how to talk to your kids about making good
decisions. Dr. John Huber is a clinical forensic
psychologist and the chairman for Mainstream Mental
Health, a non-profit mental health organization. Dr.
Huber has appeared on hundreds of radio shows and
dozens of national television programs. Contact Ryan
McCormick at (516) 901-1103; (919) 377-1200.

6. ==> July 28 is National Talk in an Elevator Day

Many of us have spent hours putting together our
‘elevator speeches’ but how many of us have actually
talked to a stranger in an elevator? Cristina Smith
urges everyone to get courageous and take a moment to
make conversation while riding up and down this week.
“Most of us use this time to check our smart devices
for email, messages, appointments and other
notifications. Take a break and meet someone new while
riding in an elevator. It could be as simple as just
looking someone in the eye and saying hi”, says
Cristina. Cristina Smith is the founder and CEO of the
Subtle Energy Center and the author of the “Yoga for

7. ==> As Wildfires Rage, Can Disaster Be Prevented?

From California to Colorado, wildfires seem to be
constantly burning. The Ferguson Fire near Yosemite
National Park has already burned more than 33,000 acres
since igniting on July 13. And things are likely to get
worse. Many parts of the US are facing a higher than
normal fire risk this year. And it’s not just here; in
Sweden, unusually warm temperatures have combined with
little to no rainfall to stoke severe wildfires in
several parts of that country. Californian entrepreneur
Jim Moseley has seen firsthand the devastating effect
of these fires, and will discuss the effects of the
fires, as well as a new technology being used to fire-
proof new constructions, a material repurposed from a
blanket designed by NASA. Featured on the May cover of
Malibu Times magazine, Moseley, a Grammy-nominated
trombonist (Google “Moseley Trombone” and enjoy!) can
be reached at (818) 486-4662; and

8. ==> Look Before You Lock: Hot Cars Kill Kids

Ten minutes. That’s how long it takes for the
temperature inside a vehicle to rise 20 degrees. For
children in particular, this increase is enough to
result in death. With nine fatal child heatstroke cases
already this year, the National Safety Council has
issued a report outlining legislation that could save
kids’ lives and calls on parents and caregivers to
‘look before they lock.’ Invite Amy Artuso to discuss
the report and share tips and even technology that
could help prevent a child from dying in a hot car.
Artuso is senior program manager of advocacy at the
National Safety Council, a nonprofit organization whose
mission is to eliminate preventable deaths at work, in
homes and communities, and on the road. To book
interview contact the National Safety Council at (630)

9. ==> His Grandfather Was the World’s Most Interesting
Man

Prince Serge Obolensky was known as the “Prince of New
York.” Born a Russian prince in 1890, he married a
Russian princess, escaped to England from the
Bolsheviks with a price on his head, immigrated to the
US with his second wife Alice Astor – an American
princess – in 1924, and reigned supreme at the St.
Regis Hotel in Manhattan, working for Vincent Astor who
asked him to help restore the grand hotel beyond its
former glory. In 1931, at the age of 53, Serge joined
the Commandos under “Wild Bill” Donovan and completed
two successful missions parachuting into Nazi-occupied
Europe. Ivan Obolensky, Serge’s grandson, has fond
memories of meeting his legendary grandfather for lunch
at the St. Regis and has many amazing, true stories to
relate, not only about his grandfather but also the
Astors and American aristocratic life at that time.
Invite him on your show for the most interesting
interview you do all year! Obolensky is the author of
the novel “Eye of the Moon.” Contact him at (818)

10. ==> Make Your Own Chemical-Free Bug & Sun Sprays

Summer is the time to head out into the great outdoors
and enjoy nature. But somehow it doesn’t seem so
natural to slather on sunscreen and bug spray filled
with chemicals and who-knows-what. Invite Jen Coken to
share DIY recipes for everything from bug repellant to
after-sun care. “Did you know that lavender has been
proven to be as effective as DEET at keeping the bugs
away? Stop buying all of those expensive products
filled with chemicals and make your own at home!” Coken
will share recipes using common household ingredients
you probably already have on hand including witch hazel
and essential oils like lavender and peppermint. She’ll
also offer your audience a free eBook with the recipes.

11. ==> Let’s Save American Kids by Saving their
Teachers from Burnout

This year, thousands of dedicated teachers will decide
to leave their jobs. Most will say they have felt
disillusioned for some time, even while believing in
their calling. Learn from Cheri Sizemore, Ed.D., what
it takes for educators to overcome burnout, whether
their classrooms serve primary school children, high
schoolers, or college students. Cheri will reveal the
positives to keeping seniority and familiarity. And
she’ll advise educators on balancing personal/family
experiences with professional life, year-round. Cheri
contends that ultimately everyone (especially today’s
kids!) will benefit when hopeful teachers stay put. She
will explore: how teacher burnout can affect your
child’s GPA; whether male or female teachers need more
encouragement to stay rooted; teachers, parents and
community politics; the fallout from school shootings,
gang activity and campus protests. Contact Cheri
Sizemore at (817) 797-6177; cherisizemore7@gmail.com.

12. ==> Why Are Wild Animals Attacking Innocent People?

In recent weeks, we’ve heard about hikers, bikers and
campers being confronted/attacked and even killed by
mountain lions. Plus, there are often stories about
destructive home invasions by bears, children being
attacked by coyotes, and other brazen wild creatures
wandering into civilization. Nature expert Bruce
Hemming, author of 4 Seconds Until Impact: The
Skyrocketing Attacks by Predators on Humans, says
growing populations of animals (no longer threatened or
endangered) present the problems. Laws that limited
hunting and trapping have done their job too well. Now
it’s often innocent human beings in peril. Interview
Hemming to learn how we can revamp safety programs to
protect everyone, especially people. He will explore
on-air: Which wilderness creatures have rebounded
most. What compels many animals to attack people or
invade human settings. How can we update animal
conservation laws? How unsafe is the great outdoors?

13. ==> Is Conventional Medicine Trying to Kill You?

According to the British Medical Journal, going to your
doctor is the third leading cause of death in the U.S.!
Steven M. Hall, M.D. claims this is because
pharmaceutical companies are more interested in profit
than saving lives. “Applicants to medical school are
selected on the basis of their willingness to obey
authority,” he says. “They often don’t think for
themselves. Drug companies pay for 90 percent of
medical education. Physicians are trained to be drug
company sales reps.” Although trained in conventional
Western medicine, Dr. Steve later added alternative
treatments to his practice, with dramatic results. “I
do use conventional medical tools, but I also focus on
how the mind and body interact. Conventional medicine
doesn’t take that into account.” He received his
medical degree from University of Utah School of
Medicine and has been practicing family medicine since
1985. Dr. Hall is the author of “The 7 Tools of
Healing: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom and Live the Life
Your Soul Desires.” Contact him at (425) 531-3684.

14. ==> What’s Your Food Kryptonite? Crush Your
Cravings

We all get cravings, especially when we are hungry. But
what about those nagging cravings that never seem to go
away? What if there was a way to make them disappear
that would make Superman proud? Food addiction
specialist Griff Neilson will share his four-step
system that will help you crush your food cravings. He
can also discuss: Why is it that we crave certain
foods? Why does willpower seem to crumble in the face
of temptation? How can you convert your cravings into
new habits that serve you rather than sabotage you? How
can you lose your gut by cleaning your gut? Griff is a
multiple certified personal trainer, and Level III CHEK
holistic lifestyle coach/nutritionist who holds a
bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the
University of Utah. His new book is “Exorcising Your

15. ==> I D.A.R.E. You NOT to use Drugs and Try Natural
Healing

CBS states 1 out of 3 Americans used prescription drugs
to heal pain in 2015. Prescription drugs can be
expensive, addictive, and lead many people into debt
and drug abusive. Millions of people suffer from some
kind of physical pain and not everyone wants to use
drugs to cure it.
Contact her to hear and be healed at
dawncrystalmaui@gmail.com.

16. ==> How to Charge Your Body Like a Cell Phone

Why is it that we treat our cell phones better than our
own bodies? Over 100 million Americans suffer from
chronic illness. If we charged, protected and updated
our bodies could we prevent, or even reverse, gut
issues, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer? Reena
Jadhav, a Harvard-educated MBA and Wharton
undergraduate, will explain what it takes to charge,
protect and update your “magical machine” so that it’s
running at optimum efficiency. She will also reveal 6
shortcuts to help you stay in the “Heal Zone.” She had
to take control over her own serious health issues
after doctors failed her. Reena is the author of “My
Heal Journal”, an effective tool for healing her own
illnesses, and the creator of the Health Pyramid which
reveals small steps for going from sick to strong.

17. ==> Interview a Real-Life Wonder Woman

She’s strong and beautiful. Women want to be like her
but feel they are too busy. Like you, Adita Lang may
have folded laundry, made breakfast, dropped the kids
at school and got gas, before 8 a.m., but she still
finds time to take care of herself. How? By using her
SuperPowers, gifts women possess but lose sight of when
they are overwhelmed. Have Adita share techniques for
boosting these SuperPowers so women can eat right,
exercise, relax and smile instead of feeling
perpetually overworked. During 30 years in the wellness
industry, Adita has coached many women who could not
“fit it all in,” and lectured on fitness and nutrition
at universities. She’s the author of SuperPowers, A
Busy Woman’s Guide to Health and Happiness. Reach her

18. ==> Safe Strategies for Exiting Violent
Relationships
Every day, domestic hotlines across the country receive
more than 20,000 phone calls from men and women wanting
an escape from a toxic relationship. They know that by
staying they risk their lives as well as boost their
likelihood of depression and suicide. Dr. Clarence
Davis knows this all too well. His 23-year-old sister’s
toxic relationship led her to commit suicide nearly 50
years ago. It spurred Dr. Davis to study why people
kill themselves and how that awful outcome can be
prevented. It also led him to write his new book, “I
Deserve to Live: How to Escape a Violent Relationship,”
and to acknowledge the mistakes his family made while
trying to help his sister. Dr. Davis has over 50 years
of experience; he counseled soldiers while in Vietnam
and with the U.S. Postal Service and has served as a
pastor. He holds advanced certificates in family
crisis, abuse, addiction, anger, depression and PTSD.
He is a disabled Vietnam veteran and is the host of
“Rebuilding Families One Soul at a Time” on WOLB in
Baltimore. Contact him at (410) 444-8427;

19. ==> Racism, Trumpism, Anxiety: Bounce Back from
Anything

Many people are walking around in a continuous state of
pain and disappointment. When asked to identify the
source of that pain, they may cite despair over the
lack of civility in American politics, the ugliness of
racism, or the separation of asylum-seeking illegal
immigrants from their children. Or, it might be a more
personal blow such as a divorce, job loss or death in
the family. “I see it too, and feel it,” says Dee
Carroll, Ph.D., of their pain. “But we can’t all just
fall into a hole, go under our bed and hide when we
have responsibilities to ourselves, our friends and our
neighbors.” Invite her to inspire your listeners to
display conviction, courage and confidence to get
beyond it all. Dee will share her own story, as well as
stories of others who have overcome insurmountable odds
using her ‘freedom’ technique. Dee Carroll has 28-plus
years of executive experience in HR and management
consulting. She is a speaker, coach and consultant and
the author of “Emotional Emancipation: Step into Your
Freedom, Reinvent Your Challenges and Move Beyond.”

20. ==> The ‘90s Weren’t All Fun, Discrimination Was
High

The 1990s seemed like a fun era, the hip clothes,
music, games, and lifestyle, so much so, that many
people are throwing ‘90s parties now to remember the
best of that decade. Although it is great to highlight
the fun from the era, let’s not forget the tragedies as
well. Racial tensions were heightened in the ‘90s and
America was defined by racism. Memories of horrific
experiences and cops killing innocent people hasn’t
changed much today. If you simply scroll through the
news you will find at least one article describing a
violent encounter based on race. Statista states 325
black people were shot and killed by officers in the
U.S. in 2017-2018. Nita Wiggins described her own
racial encounters in the 1990s in her upcoming book
called, Civil Rights Baby and how those experiences led
her to create a program called the Race Relations
Reconstruction. Contact her to hear why history should
not repeat itself and how we can make changes to better
our future. Contact Nita Wiggins at
