1. ==> Comedian Jim Gaffigan is Getting Serious
Jim Gaffigan gets very personal in his latest stand-up.
Using his signature everyman humor to deal with the
unthinkable, Gaffigan proves once again why he’s been
called the “King of Clean comedy.” In his new special
Noble Ape, he tackles the medical crisis that hit his
wife and family this year, which almost led to his
retirement. “Finding the humor in Jeannie’s brain tumor
was not only therapeutic, but I soon realized it
resonated with audiences. We’ve all been in those
moments of medical crisis and it’s good to laugh about
it,” says Gaffigan. And Jim is certainly not retiring!
There’s a lot to talk about. He co-stars in the
upcoming Amazon movie Troupe Zero and appears in nine
feature films this year including several dramatic
roles! Noble Ape was recorded live at the Wilbur
Theatre in Boston, MA. It is available this month on
Amazon, iTunes and many cable and satellite services.

2. ==> Trump & GOP: Treasonous On Russia?
Professor David Rothkopf says the indictments of 12
Russian military officers accused of engaging in a
coordinated attack on the United States are a vital
reminder that the Mueller investigation cannot be seen
as a political issue. He says, “This is an
extraordinary moment. It is without equal, not only in
American history but in modern history. A hostile
foreign power intervened in our election to help elect
a man president who has since actively served their
interests and has defended them at every turn. That the
president is abetted in his aid for the Russians —
again, in the midst of this ongoing attack — by the
leadership of the Republican Party makes the situation
all the more extraordinary and dangerous. As
Republicans seek to undermine the investigation, they
serve Russia as directly as if they were officers of
the GRU. Some now reportedly seek to impeach Rosenstein
on trumped up charges. To attack one of our national
defense leaders as we are being attacked, and to do so
to benefit our foreign adversary, is textbook treason.”
David Rothkopf visiting professor at Columbia
University’s School of International and Public Affairs
and visiting scholar at the Carnegie Endowment for
International Peace. He has been a longtime contributor
to Foreign Policy and was CEO and editor of the FP
Group. Contact Meshal DeSantis at (202) 939-2233;

3. ==> NATO Allies Upset: So What?
Critics say President Trump’s boorish blindsides
against NATO are leading to a destruction of the 70-
year alliance. Steve Levy says that’s nonsense. “There
is one, and only one, central issue as to whether NATO
continues to be a relevant force: Will each member
commit to defending any other member if attacked by a
foreign hostile power? So long as that commitment
remains strong, all the other spats amount to squat.”
He adds, “We know what America does for Europe. But
what does Europe really do for America? Sure, they
share intelligence with our CIA in the fight against
global terrorism, but that’s done for their national
self-interests. Let’s be real; this is primarily a one-
way alliance. A potential attack against America is not
deterred by any pushback that could come from the
anemic European nations. The only deterrent that
matters is the one provided by America for the
protection of our European friends. European critics of
America should never forget that.” Steve Levy is a
former New York State Assemblyman & County Executive,
author, political commentator & radio host. Contact him

4. ==> Former Obama Advisor, Dan Pfeiffer
For your listeners in despair over the current occupant
of the White House, former top Obama advisor Dan
Pfeiffer offers hope that all is not lost. Invite
Pfeiffer to share candid, behind-the-scenes stories of
how the Obama White House worked, as well as his
opinion on the state of politics today and how to move
the country forward. Dan Pfeiffer does a co-host of the
popular political podcast Pod Save America. One of
Barack Obama’s longest serving advisors, he was White
House Director of Communications under President Obama
(2009-2013) and Senior Adviser to the President
(2013-2015). His new book is “Yes We (Still) Can:
Politics in the Age of Obama, Twitter and Trump.”

5. ==> France’s World Cup is a Win for Immigrants
Peniel Joseph says France’s electrifying 4-2 World Cup
win over Croatia represents a victory for Africa and
immigrants everywhere. “The French team features no
less than 15 players with African roots, including the
dynamic 19-year-old forward Kylian Mbappe, who is
descended from an Algerian mother and Cameroonian
father. The team’s pan-African make-up goes a long way
toward helping the world — including European soccer
fans who have chanted ugly racist slogans against black
players — reimagine the most popular sport on the
planet and what it means to be a citizen.” Peniel
Joseph is the Barbara Jordan Chair in ethics and
political values and the founding director of the
Center for the Study of Race and Democracy at the LBJ
School of Public Affairs at the University of Texas at
Austin, where he is also a professor of history.

6. ==> Are Politicians Ruining Accountability for the
Rest of Us?
Business consultant Bonnie Sussman-Versace first began
noticing the decline in accountability in the workplace
shortly after corporations started laying off thousands
of workers to boost profits for shareholders. By the
time Bill Clinton took office, many of those workers
were trying to explain to their kids why it was
acceptable for the leader of the free world to have
affairs and lie about them and still get elected. Bring
Bonnie on your show to discuss the disappearance of
accountability—the idea that the buck stops here—and
why it is the #1 problem in business today. She’ll say
that many employees believe their company’s problems
stem from poor communication when the real culprit is
that people are losing trust in each other because
their actions do not match their words. She’ll also
talk about the role our education system plays with its
everybody gets a trophy mentality. More than merely
shining a light on this huge problem, Bonnie can point
to solutions we can all embrace to make ourselves
accountable for the words that come out of our mouth.
Bonnie is the author of “Recipes for Thoughtful
Leadership and Healthy Culture.” She is the author of
numerous articles for Business Weekly, the Reading
Eagle, and Lehigh Business Journal. Contact her at

7. ==> Libertarian: Brett Kavanaugh Isn’t So Bad
Many on the left are worried about a more conservative
Supreme Court now that President Trump has nominated
Brett Kavanaugh to take the place of retiring Justice
Anthony Kennedy. The CATO Institute’s Trevor Burrus
says those concerns are reasonable, but they shouldn’t
be apocalyptic. “The reality is that gay marriage isn’t
going anywhere, Roe v. Wade will probably not be
overturned, and a court with a Justice Kavanaugh could
help rein in an executive branch that has become too
powerful.” What positives might we see from a more
conservative court? Burrus says, “For one, a more
conservative court would rein in an out-of-control
administrative state that empowers the executive branch
to make sweeping changes in American lives.” He adds,
“And a more conservative court is likely to have less
patience for possible Trump shenanigans domestically
(although foreign policy is a different story).” Trevor
Burrus is a research fellow in the Cato Institute’s
Robert Levy Center for Constitutional Studies and
managing editor of the Cato Supreme Court Review.

8. ==> Has #MeToo Ruined Dating?
The “Me Too Movement” went viral via social media as a
way for women to speak up about sexual assault and
harassment. But many men are now confused and trying to
grasp the “new normal” of dating and relating to women
in the workplace without getting into trouble. “There
are definitely some ways in which the ‘Me Too Movement’
has missed the boat,” says Jennifer Cochern, LCPC. The
movement has created a grey area that we are having a
difficult time navigating. Jennifer, a seasoned
counselor and expert on setting and keeping healthy
boundaries, can help your audience unpack how they are
really feeling about the #MeToo Movement without
judgement or bias! Jennifer Cochern, LCPC is a writer
and counselor. She has worked with hundreds of clients
promoting personal growth and healthier relationship
skills. Contact Jennifer Cochern at (208) 571-2511;

9. ==> Why You Should Get a Tan this Summer
We’ve all been told to slather on sunscreen to protect
our skin from the damaging rays of the sun, but Dr. Jim
Roach says we’ve got it all wrong; the sun is good for
us and could even prevent cancer! Dr. Roach will
discuss why he tells his patients to get a dark tan in
the summer, how much sun is safe, the potential dangers
of sunscreen, and even how to prevent wrinkles from the
sun. He’ll also discuss a new study that found that
higher levels of vitamin D reduced the risk of breast
cancer by 82%, and how vitamin D can block estrogen and
increase testosterone, which could help reduce
autoimmune disorders, anxiety and waist size and boost
libido and confidence. Jim Roach, MD, a leading
integrative practitioner who has appeared on numerous
radio and TV programs, is a speaker, consultant,
educator, researcher, and widely sought clinician with
patients from across the country His latest book,
“Vital Strategies in Cancer,” will be released this
fall. Contact him at (859) 846-4453 (office);

10. ==> What those House-Flipping Shows Never Tell You
It sounds like a great idea – buy a house, pour a few
thousand dollars at it, then sell it for monster
profit. But when the market reverses or corrects
itself, buyers bail, loans are called in, money becomes
scarce, and flipping proves a flop. Bestselling author
and successful property manager Dan Lieberman says that
owning and managing rental properties is as close to a
market-proof investment in real estate as you can get.
He’ll discuss his experience during boom and bust
markets, and how, when he used retail models for
customer service, he transformed undesirable properties
– and neighborhoods – into sought-after addresses.
Dan’s previous books have been featured in the New York
Times, the LA Times, and other major-market
publications. He has appeared on CBS This Morning and
CNN. Dan can be reached at (510) 867-7424;

11. ==> California is Burning!
Wildfire season started off with a bang this year, with
upwards of 60 wildfires ruining more than the 4thof
July festivities thousands of Americans had planned.
Wildfires destroy landscapes both residential and
commercial, devastate literally millions of acres of
wildlife, and upend the economy. Last year alone,
California suffered $160 billion worth of damage.
Californian entrepreneur Jim Moseley has seen firsthand
the devastating effect of these fires, and will discuss
the effects of the fires, as well as a new technology
being used to fire-proof new constructions, a material
repurposed from a blanket designed by NASA. Featured on
the May cover of Malibu Times magazine, Moseley, a
Grammy-nominated trombonist (Google “Moseley Trombone”
and enjoy!) can be reached at (818) 486-4662; and

12. ==> Why So Many Wild Animal Attacks Lately?
In recent weeks, we’ve heard about hikers, bikers and
campers being confronted/attacked and even killed by
mountain lions. Plus, there are often stories about
destructive home invasions by bears, children being
attacked by coyotes, and other brazen wild creatures
wandering into civilization. Nature expert Bruce
Hemming, author of 4 Seconds Until Impact: The
Skyrocketing Attacks by Predators on Humans, says
growing populations of animals (no longer threatened or
endangered) present the problems. Laws that limited
hunting and trapping have done their job too well. Now
it’s often innocent human beings in peril. Interview
Hemming to learn how we can revamp safety programs to
protect everyone, especially people. He will explore
on-air: Which wilderness creatures have rebounded
most. What compels many animals to attack people or
invade human settings. How can we update animal
conservation laws? How unsafe is the great outdoors?

specific time and for a specific purpose… but did you
know that 90% of all policies lapse before maturity? Or
that when you don’t need your policy any longer you

the hidden cash value of your policy… or that you are
paying more than you should for the policy you have.
Interview David Kottler, the Insurance Doctor ™, about
these and other best kept secrets that insurance
companies don’t want you to know! He can explain what
you need to ask to figure out exactly what your policy
is worth. David is an attorney, entrepreneur, financial
planner and renowned speaker who combines his legal and
business experience with a passion for philanthropy.

14. ==> Is Peace of Mind Possible in Today’s Crazy
World?
Many of your listeners are nearly at their breaking
point. For them, hiding under the bed, plugging their
ears and shunning all news are starting to look like
sensible options. But wait. Dr. Jeanne Sanner says,
“Don’t put the blanket over your head quite yet.” She
says she has found a formula that guarantees peace and
joy when followed step by step. Best of all, it works
no matter what is going on in the world around you. Dr.

15. ==> In the Age of Selfies, Do People Still Collect
Autographs?
Steve Long, CEO of Phamous Pholks Furniture Art
Pillows, has met Richard Nixon, Spiro Agnew, Buzz
Aldrin, Brian Wilson, Tony Curtis and other famous
people and has their autographs to prove it—along with
the stories of how he obtained them. For a fun segment,
have Steve discuss why even today, the actual
signatures of famous people still have value. Steve can
share details about some of his rare autographs,
including Charlie Chaplin, John Glenn and Sally Ride,
as well as reveal whose signatures draw the most money
from collectors. He can also talk about why people love
celebrities so much, why they identify with them so
closely and why autograph collecting is far from dead.

16. ==> Pop Quiz! How’s Your Medical Vocabulary?
If your doctor tells you your pain is idiopathic, what
does he mean? Or if he says you need to undergo
“decompressive laminectomy,” what does that entail? Let
Dr. Tom Neviaser, AKA “The Doctor Whisperer” come on to
your show for a fun interactive segment with your host
and/or callers. He’ll read five funny words or medical
terms for common problems and see if your host or
audience can guess what he’s really saying.
Dr. Tom will also reveal: why people’s pain is not
where they think it is, what to say to get a busy
doctor to see you right away, and fascinating things
about the human body you probably never knew. Reach Dr.
Tom Neviaser at (540) 718-0666; drdeed1@reagan.com
17. ==> Is Your Underwear Making You Stupid?
Millions of women wear bras, shapewear, corsets and
other undergarments to look better in their clothes. If
you can trim a few inches with a waist cincher, why
not? Because when you wear anything that restricts your
body like that, you also restrict oxygen to the brain
which can cause a host of problems including mental
acuity! Even more startling—your kids’ backpack (and
the one you carried as a kid!) can cause even more
damage… and it can last a lifetime. “Heavy school
backpacks are a national crime that has sentenced two
generations to low brain oxygen,” says Bob Prichard of
the Somax Institute. Prichard will explain the dangers
of low brain oxygen (poor school and work performance,
trouble concentrating, depression, obesity and much
more), how he discovered the connection between chest
expansion and brain oxygen, and most importantly, how
to reverse the damage, even years later. You’ll hear
amazing stories of raises, promotions, better grades
and mental improvement after treatment, and your
listeners will learn a simple way to measure their
breathing range—and their kids’—using an item you
already have at home. Bob Prichard is president of the
Somax Institute and author of “Are You Robbing Your
Brain of Oxygen?” Contact him at (415) 435-9880 (CA);

18. ==> Funny Questions Little Boys Ask about Sex
Do mommies poop out babies? Do spiders move into a
woman’s vagina after she has a baby? If I want to have
children someday do my wife and I have to have sex?
Little boys love to ask questions about sex and some of
them are so outrageous that you can’t help but laugh.
No one knows this better than Diane Auten, author of
“The Joys of Raising Boys: the Good, the Bad, and the
Hilarious.” A professor and communication expert, she
wrote down the crazy questions her sons Bradley and
Nate asked in the first ten years of their lives and
recorded the conversations that ensued after she
answered them. Your audience will learn that kids are
paying attention to what they hear and see—including TV
commercials for Viagra. Diane frequently speaks to
parents about communicating more effectively with their
kids. Reach her at (805) 440-6532;

19. ==> Do a Show on the ‘Prince of New York’
Prince Serge Obolensky was known as the “Prince of New
York.” Born a Russian prince in 1890, he married a
Russian princess, escaped to England from the
Bolsheviks with a price on his head, immigrated to the
US with his second wife Alice Astor – an American
princess – in 1924, and reigned supreme at the St.
Regis Hotel in Manhattan, working for Vincent Astor who
asked him to help restore the grand hotel beyond its
former glory. In 1931, at the age of 53, Serge joined
the Commandos under “Wild Bill” Donovan and completed
two successful missions parachuting into Nazi-occupied
Europe. Ivan Obolensky, Serge’s grandson, has fond
memories of meeting his legendary grandfather for lunch
at the St. Regis and has many amazing, true stories to
relate, not only about his grandfather but also the
Astors and American aristocratic life at that time.
Invite him on your show for the most interesting
interview you do all year! Obolensky is the author of
the novel “Eye of the Moon.” Contact him at (818)

20. ==> Summer DIY Bug & Sun Recipes
Summer is the time to head out into the great outdoors
and enjoy nature. But somehow it doesn’t seem so
natural to slather on sunscreen and bug spray. Invite
Jen Coken to share DIY recipes for everything from bug
repellant to after-sun care. “Did you know that
lavender has been proven to be as effective as DEET at
keeping the bugs away? Stop buying all of those
expensive products filled with chemicals and make your
own at home!” Coken will share recipes using common
household ingredients you probably already have on hand
including witch hazel and essential oils like lavender
and peppermint. She’ll also offer your audience a free
eBook with the recipes. Jen Coken is a wellness
lifestyle expert and a frequent contributor on radio
and TV. Contact her at (303) 859-9081;
