1. ==> He Was Thrown Out of Helsinki Press Conference

Sam Husseini sheds new light on what occurred at the
Helsinki summit Monday when he was forcibly ejected
from the Trump-Putin news conference. Husseini, a
senior analyst with the Institute for Public Accuracy,
writes: “I came to Helsinki to ask Donald Trump and
Vladimir Putin questions about the threat of nuclear
weapons and to distribute an open letter about the need
for secure elections and true national security.
Instead, I was dragged out of their press conference
before it even began and into a Finnish jail.”
Husseini’s piece explains the significance of the small
sign he was holding — “Nuclear Weapon Ban Treaty” —
when accosted and ejected by police. And he lists some
key questions that were left unasked at the news
conference. Husseini’s article, “I Came as a Journalist
to Ask Important Questions,” appears in The Nation
magazine. Contact Husseini at samhusseini@gmail.com;
@samhusseini or executive director of the Institute for
Public Accuracy Norman Solomon at
solomonprogressive@gmail.com

2. ==> GOPs in Congress Need to Step In

President Trump continues to face fall-out from the
Helsinki news conference where he said Russia AND the
US were both to blame for the 2016 hacking of the US
presidential election. Former Republican congressional
spokesperson Kurt Bardella says the statement is
ridiculous and that Robert Mueller’s indictment of 12
Russians leaves no room for interpretation. “We now
have specific details on how the ‘Russian Federation
operated a military intelligence agency’ that ‘engaged
in cyber operations that involved the staged releases
of documents stolen through computer intrusions’ in
‘large-scale cyber operations to interfere with the
2016 U.S. presidential election.’” Bardella asks, “How
much longer will congressional Republicans risk
allowing Putin to determine our elections?” Kurt
Bardella is a media strategist who previously worked as
a spokesperson for Breitbart News, the Daily Caller,
Rep. Darrell Issa, Rep. Brian Bilbray and Senator
Olympia Snowe. Contact him at

3. ==> Got Pre-Existing Conditions? Here’s What Happens
Next

The Trump Administration continues to try and dismantle
the Affordable Care Act. One goal is to eliminate ACA
provisions that currently ban insurance companies from
denying coverage based on pre-existing conditions or
from charging higher rates based on their health
status. “The Administration’s decision to oppose
existing federal law imperils millions of patients
nationwide,” says National Patient Advocate Foundation
(NPAF) CEO Alan Balch, PhD. “Not only does it bring
back uncertainty to individuals’ lives, it also
destabilizes the entire marketplace, driving up costs
for everyone.” He adds, ‘We have long worked with
patients for whom meaningful health coverage was not
possible. They were low-income, sick or had multiple
conditions. Each day they lived with the constant worry
of a health crisis leading to financial ruin. By
allowing insurers to discriminate against people with
preexisting conditions, the Administration will thrust
millions of Americans back into that life.” NPAF
represents patients nationwide in support of access to
affordable, quality health care. as the advocacy
affiliate of the Patient Advocate Foundation. Contact

4. ==> Funnyman Jim Gaffigan Gets Serious

Jim Gaffigan gets very personal in his latest stand-up.
Using his signature everyman humor to deal with the
unthinkable, Gaffigan proves once again why he’s been
called the “King of Clean comedy.” In the new special
Noble Ape, he tackles the medical crisis that hit his
wife and family this year, which almost led to his
retirement. “Finding the humor in Jeannie’s brain tumor
was not only therapeutic, but I soon realized it
resonated with audiences. We’ve all been in those
moments of medical crisis and it’s good to laugh about
it,” says Gaffigan. And Jim is certainly not retiring!
There’s a lot to talk about. He co-stars in the
upcoming Amazon movie Troupe Zero and appears in nine
feature films this year including several dramatic
roles! Noble Ape was recorded live at the Wilbur
Theatre in Boston, MA. It is available now on Amazon,
iTunes and many cable and satellite services. Contact

5. ==> If You Want to Be Happy Be a Conservative

“Would it surprise you to learn that if you were
picking a governing philosophy based only on personal
satisfaction, many would choose to be conservative?”
asks media critic Kristi Stone Hamrick. She cites
several studies including a recent one at USC using
five data sets that include representative samples from
16 countries, which found that conservatives found
greater meaning in life and as a result were happier.
The perks cover everything from a potentially better
sex life to the ability to lose a few pounds. And while
nobody can say exactly why, Kristi says it may be
because conservatives take the historical perspective
that things go up and down, meaning any setback is not
the end of the line. She adds, “Can politics make you
happy? Hard to say, especially given today’s political
turmoil and division, but apparently leaning right can
give you an advantage, no matter who happens to be in
office.” Kristi Stone Hamrick is a media consultant who
writes for Fox News and the Daily Caller, and other
outlets. Contact her at @KristiSHamrick.

6. ==> Ferguson Fire Rages in California

Firefighters are struggling to contain a deadly
wildfire that more than doubled in size on Monday,
charring nearly 9,300 acres of land near Yosemite
National Park in California’s Sierra Nevada Mountains.
Wildfires destroy landscapes both residential and
commercial, devastate literally millions of acres of
wildlife, and upend the economy. Last year alone,
California suffered $160 billion worth of damage.
Californian entrepreneur Jim Moseley has seen firsthand
the devastating effect of these fires, and will discuss
the effects of the fires, as well as a new technology
being used to fire-proof new constructions, a material
repurposed from a blanket designed by NASA. Featured on
the May cover of Malibu Times magazine, Moseley, a
Grammy-nominated trombonist (Google “Moseley Trombone”
and enjoy!) can be reached at 818-486-4662; and

7. ==> He Says Media is Wrong: Renewable Energy is NOT
the Best Option

Most of us citizens go about our daily routines not
thinking too deeply about energy and fuel emissions.
We just obey the pollution laws and try to use popular
media information to do our bit for green lifestyle and
eco-friendly choices. Unfortunately, some of the advice
we get from our media is wrong. That’s especially true
about the merits of renewable energy. A fascinating
case in point is the updated China policy regarding
national energy additions through year 2050. With
little media attention, Chinese leaders are de-
emphasizing their own solar and wind construction (but
not activity in world export markets), and replacing
renewables with a vastly expanded nuclear fleet. Their
new policy is considered necessary for dealing with the
disastrous state of their environment, especially air
and water quality. Why China’s change of heart? And
what are the implications for U.S. planning? Tim
Maloney has the answers in his book “Roadmap to
Nowhere.” Contact him at t.maloney@bex.net

8. ==> How to Ask for a Raise and Get It!

Everyone wants to get paid more money. But most people
are too shy when it comes to asking their boss for a
raise. “No more!” says Jean-Paul Gravel, one of the top
performance coaches in the world. He’ll show you how to
overcome what he calls your “intimidation threshold”
and get the raise you deserve. Gravel will coach your
listeners through every step of the process. He’ll also
share why preparing what to say to your boss is a waste
of time until you first rebuild your own “inner
operating system.” He’ll take you through 3 simple
steps which will completely raise your confidence,
conviction and persuasiveness so that your boss sees
you in a whole new way. Gravel has spent 15 years
showing people from all walks of life including high
achievers, entrepreneurs and pro athletes how to unlock
their own deep-seated power and potential to experience
extraordinary results in business and life. Contact

9. ==> Using ‘Girl Power’ to Crack the Glass Ceiling

The #MeToo movement has afforded women more personal
power than ever before. But they still have a long way
to go when it comes to cracking the glass ceiling,
especially in creative fields. Award-winning author and
filmmaker Kailin Gow has been on the frontlines of the
women’s empowerment movement for years, and can share
how she overcame discrimination and harassment to
achieve major success. “Doors were not open to me when
I became a pioneer in digital book publishing and an
indie female filmmaker,” she says. “Less than 10
percent of directors are female. I don’t want my
daughter and other girls to grow up facing the same
discrimination I did.” Kailin will share how she
overcame numerous obstacles, and how we can empower
young women for success. She is the founder of
Sparklesoup Inc., an internationally recognized, multi-
award-winning bestselling author and director/filmmaker
who has sold over 5.5 million books. Her latest book is
“Kailin Gow’s Go Girl Guide.” Contact her at
sparklesoup@aol.com or (949) 923-0243.

10. ==> Why Women Need to Move on from #MeToo

Powerful men have had their careers destroyed by the
#MeToo Movement as courageous women have come forward
to tell their long-hidden stories of sexual harassment
and assault. Despite that success—or perhaps because of
it—Dr. Dee Carroll says, “”Now that we have awareness,
we need to move beyond it and help women get on with
their productive, empowered lives. Awareness is one
thing, but the key is to move from agony to achieving
something great.” An expert on emotional emancipation,
Dr. Dee says the movement has solved one problem only
to leave the most important one hanging: how can women
move from acknowledging these incidents to forgiving
themselves and their perpetrators? Dr. Dee can talk
about ways women can achieve this crucial inner
healing, and why this is the final stage of #MeToo for
women with and without a voice. She has been on CNN and
testified before the Senate, and is the author of “The
Emotional Emancipation: Step into Your Freedom,
Reinvent Your Challenges and Move On.” Reach her at

11. ==> 7 Deadly Mistakes Buyers Make with Life
Insurance

Most people buy insurance from a friendly agent at a
specific time and for a specific purpose… but did you
know that 90% of all policies lapse before maturity? Or
that when you don’t need your policy any longer you
could sell it? For cash? Chances are you have no idea
the hidden cash value of your policy… or that you are
paying more than you should for the policy you have.
Interview David Kottler, the Insurance Doctor ™, about
these and other best kept secrets that insurance
companies don’t want you to know! He can explain what
you need to ask to figure out exactly what your policy
is worth. David is an attorney, entrepreneur, financial
planner and renowned speaker who combines his legal and
business experience with a passion for philanthropy.

12. ==> DIY – Make Your Own Bug & Sun Sprays

Summer is the time to head out into the great outdoors
and enjoy nature. But somehow it doesn’t seem so
natural to slather on sunscreen and bug spray filled
with chemicals and who-knows-what. Invite Jen Coken to
share DIY recipes for everything from bug repellant to
after-sun care. “Did you know that lavender has been
proven to be as effective as DEET at keeping the bugs
away? Stop buying all of those expensive products
filled with chemicals and make your own at home!” Coken
will share recipes using common household ingredients
you probably already have on hand including witch hazel
and essential oils like lavender and peppermint. She’ll
also offer your audience a free eBook with the recipes.

contributor on radio and TV. Contact her at (303)

13. ==> Why You Should Treat Your Body Like a Cell
Phone

Why is it that we treat our cell phones better than our
own bodies? Over 100 million Americans suffer from
chronic illness. If we charged, protected and updated
our bodies could we prevent, or even reverse, gut
issues, diabetes, heart disease, and cancer? Reena
Jadhav, a Harvard-educated MBA and Wharton
undergraduate, will explain what it takes to charge,
protect and update your “magical machine” so that it’s
running at optimum efficiency. She will also reveal 6
shortcuts to help you stay in the “Heal Zone.” She had
to take control over her own serious health issues
after doctors failed her. Reena is the author of “My
Heal Journal”, an effective tool for healing her own
illnesses, and the creator of the Health Pyramid which
reveals small steps for going from sick to strong.

14. ==> How Sugar Feeds Cancer

When Anthony Randle’s wife Jessica was diagnosed with
stage four breast cancer, her doctors told her she
could eat whatever she wanted while undergoing
aggressive treatments. But after having a poignant
dream about his late grandmother who was a gifted
energy healer, Anthony began doing his own research and
discovered some shocking facts. “I learned that sugar
actually feeds cancer,” he says. After elimination
sugar from her diet, Jessica sailed through chemo with
virtually no side effects. “After every treatment, I
wanted her to relax and nap,” he says. “But she would
have so much energy that we would go play tennis. The
ball would rush past me!” He shares his poignant
experiences in his acclaimed book “The True Story of a
Husband, A Best Friend and Care Giver: The Struggle
Within,” and can reveal how he and his wife made it
through this traumatic experience healthier and happier
than ever. Contact him at arandle1076@ gmail.com or

15. ==> Interview a Real-Life Wonder Woman

She’s strong and beautiful. Women want to be like her
but feel they are too busy. Like you, Adita Lang may
have folded laundry, made breakfast, dropped the kids
at school and got gas, before 8 a.m., but she still
finds time to take care of herself. How? By using her
SuperPowers, gifts women possess but lose sight of when
they are overwhelmed. Have Adita share techniques for
boosting these SuperPowers so women can eat right,
exercise, relax and smile instead of feeling
perpetually overworked. During 30 years in the wellness
industry, Adita has coached many women who could not
“fit it all in,” and lectured on fitness and nutrition
at universities. She’s the author of “SuperPowers, A
Busy Woman’s Guide to Health and Happiness.” Reach her
at (305) 794-6505; info@AditaLang.com

16. ==> ‘Who Shot Ya?’- The ‘90s Weren’t All Fun

The 1990s seemed like a fun era, the hip clothes,
music, games, and lifestyle, so much so, that many
people are throwing ‘90s parties now to remember the
best of that decade. Although it is great to highlight
the fun from the era, Nita Wiggins says we shouldn’t
forget the tragedies. Racial tensions were heightened
in the ‘90s and America was defined by racism. Memories
of horrific experiences and cops killing innocent
people hasn’t changed much today. If you simply scroll
through the news you will find at least one article
describing a violent encounter based on race. Statista
states 325 black people were shot and killed by
officers in the U.S. in 2017-2018. Nita Wiggins
described her own racial encounters in the 1990s in her
upcoming book “Civil Rights Baby,” and how those
experiences led her to create a program called the Race
Relations Reconstruction. Contact her to hear why
history should not repeat itself and how we can make
changes to better our future. Reach her at

people break through to happiness. Jim can reveal the
three biggest mistakes people make that lead them away
from happiness and toward misery. In fact, Jim is so
good at doing this that when he volunteers in prisons
he has been known to make inmates feel happier while
incarcerated. Jim will explain how anyone can develop a
more optimistic attitude and learn to finally
appreciate all the things they have to be grateful for.

18. ==> How Faith Can Divorce-Proof Your Marriage

While half of all marriages end in divorce, pastor and
marriage counselor Rev. George Sukhdeo and his wife,
Shirley, managed to remain happily married for 46
years. “We have experienced almost every challenge
couples face in a marriage,” he says. “A marriage with
Christ at its center is much more than having someone
to do the dishes after dinner, take care of you when
you’re sick, or help you make the car payment every
month. A godly marriage excels at compromise and
glories in selflessness.” Rev. George is an ordained
minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada, He
received a Master of Ministry in Christian Counseling
degree and a B.A. in theology from Christian Bible
College of Rocky Mount, N.C. He has 34 years of
experience in Christian ministries as a pastor,
Christian counselor and life coach, and has counseled
more than 500 couples, with an 85 percent success rate.

19. ==> Bad Things that Happen When You’re Starving for
More Meaning

Troubled relationships. Disappointing career. Emotional
frustrations, stress and setbacks. Money woes. Such
problems happen when you’re missing enough meaning
(defined as positive impact), says sought-after speaker
Bob Lichtenbert, author of “Making Meaning” and the
abridged “Maximizing Meaning.” Bob’s insights can help
audiences discover more purpose and fulfillment at any
age. On-air Bob will share stories of his own life
turnaround (such as seeing his newborn son in the crib
for the first time and realizing how he needed true
meaning pronto!). Bob’s advice, tips and aphorisms have
already helped many readers and followers to make more
meaning and thrive. Ask Bob to explain: What is
meaning, and why do we need to make more of it? Why
make meaning for other people? How can one make more
meaning? Contact Bob at (773) 481-0544 (IL);

20. ==> How The 12 Steps Can Help You to Lead Your Best
Life

Most people believe that the 12 Steps of Alcoholics
Anonymous just apply to addiction. But David L. Peters,
a scientist and devout Catholic, shares how the
principles can help anyone lead a full, happy life. “I
started and led the Roman Catholic movement of Cursillo
for 15 years, and worked in the 12-step recovery
program for 20 years,” he says. “I have modified the 12
Steps to reach a broader scope of our world.” David
began applying the steps to his own life at a very
early age. At 84, he has had a very successful career
as an engineer, 18 patents, has had a loving marriage
of 57 years, and has written his first book. He
achieved all of this, thanks to the 12 Steps, and can
share how anyone can do this. David L. Peters is the
author of “The 12 Steps to Joy and Happiness: Finding
the Kingdom of God that Lies Within.” Contact him at
