1. ==> Will Swamp Slime Envelop Trump?
Donald Trump’s former campaign chairman, Paul Manafort,
was convicted on eight counts of financial crimes
Tuesday, while ex-Trump lawyer and fixer Michael Cohen
pleaded guilty to eight criminal counts and admitted in
court that he committed some of these crimes “in
coordination and at the direction of a candidate for
federal office.” Biographer Michael D’Antonio says,
“The culture of corruption that has enveloped Trump for
years, in his serial bankruptcies and shady dealings
and scandals like Trump University, now has a criminal
quality affirmed in two federal courts. This is what
Trump does, this is the company he keeps, and these are
the practices now closing in on him.” And what about
Trump’s hint that he may pardon Cohen or Manafort?
D’Antonio says, “This type of meddling, unheard of
where Presidents are concerned, is the essence of the
swamp. Trump already has the stink of it on him and
it’s not going to go away.” Michael D’Antonio is a
Pulitzer Prize-winning writer and CNN commentator. He’s
the author of several books including the “The Truth
about Trump” and the upcoming “The Shadow President:
The Truth about Vice President Mike Pence.” Contact him

2. ==> Will Democrats Get Rid of Superdelegates?
The Democratic National Committee is in Chicago this
week, 50 years after the gavel fell at the disastrous
1968 Democratic National Convention in that city. On
the DNC’s agenda is a decisive vote on what to do about
the party’s “superdelegates.” In an article for
HuffPost, Norman Solomon writes: “The schedulers for
this coming week’s Democratic National Committee
meeting either have a sly sense of irony or a touch of
historical amnesia. Solomon notes that “much of the
mayhem in the streets and the angry dissent inside the
amphitheater a half-century ago stemmed from the well-
grounded belief that the Democratic establishment had
rigged the nominating process for its candidate, Vice
President Hubert Humphrey.” Drawing a parallel with
present-day concerns about unfairness in the party’s
presidential nominating process, Solomon writes:
“Widely unpopular at the grassroots, the superdelegate
system remains a burr in the donkey’s saddle,
threatening to further undermine party unity in the
quest to regain the White House.” Solomon is executive
director of the Institute for Public Accuracy, co-
founder of RootsAction.org and coauthor of “Autopsy:
The Democratic Party in Crisis.” He is in Chicago
through Saturday. Contact him at

3. ==> Ask These Former NFL Players How to Make the Cut
in Football and in Life
Remember that movie ‘Invincible’ staring Mark Wahlberg?
It was the story of Vince Papale, a real-life Rocky-
type, who was given a shot to try out for the
Philadelphia Eagles and made the team. This August,
NFL teams are cutting dozens of players, but what does
it actually take to make the cut? Interview Vince
and/or another “Invincible” former Philadelphia Eagle,
Dennis Franks on what it really takes to succeed in the
NFL or anything else. Vince and Dennis have many
obstacles to achieve great success in business after
football. An iconic photo of them both laughing on the
sidelines hangs in the Football Hall of Fame. They are
authors of “The Last Laugh: From Vision to Victory” and
will share a 7-step process for setting and achieving
any goal. They’ll enthrall you with real stories of the
gridiron. Contact Nancy Franks at (336) 420-1507;
nancyfranks@gmail.com
4. ==> ‘Beautifully Broken’: Interview Actor Benjamin
Onyango
The new film Beautifully Broken opens tomorrow, and
already the movie is getting huge buzz. It tells the
story of three fathers across the globe whose lives
converge as they fight to save their families. Kenyan-
born actor Benjamin Onyango stars as the real-life
William Mwizerwa, a Rwandan businessman who protected
his family during the genocide against Tutsi where
nearly one million people were killed. Benjamin can
discuss the new film and his role as Mwizerwa, who
successfully escaped Rwanda with his family and now
helps the refugee community as a teacher, minister and
counselor in Tennessee. Benjamin Onyango has appeared
in films such as God’s Not Dead and Tears of the Sun.

5. ==> The History of Punk Rock Behind the Iron Curtain
Long before the Berlin Wall came down, social
discontent and a shared fear of nuclear annihilation
among the young on both sides had already galvanized a
generation of resisters. The end of a divided Germany
actually came from within, fueled in part by punk rock.
Renowned music journalist and German-language
translator Tim Mohr will share the little-known story
of a group of East German kids who rebelled and helped
set the world on fire. Hear how punk rock became a
secret but powerful tonic—the rallying point of an East
German youth revolution and the soundtrack to a
history-changing uprising. Tim Mohr is a literary
translator who also collaborated on memoirs by
musicians Gil Scott-Heron, Duff McKagan of Guns N’
Roses, and Paul Stanley of KISS. He spent several years
as a staff editor at Playboy magazine, where he edited
Hunter S. Thompson, John Dean, Harvey Pekar, and many
others. Prior to starting his writing career, he earned
his living as a club DJ in Berlin. His new book is
“Burning Down the Haus: Punk Rock, Revolution, and the
Fall of the Berlin Wall.” Contact Johanna Ramos-Boyer

6. ==> Take the Anxiety Out of Back-to-School
As the clock ticks toward the start of another school
year kids are getting anxious about heading back to the
classroom and parents are stressed out thinking about
homework battles and busy family schedules ahead.
Whether your kid procrastinates on assignments, is
anxious over their appearance, or is afraid to try out
for the school play or sports team, anxiety buster
Mariann Adams says you may be handling their anxieties-
and yours-all wrong. “Most people experience anxiety at
some point, and kids are no exception. But there’s no
such thing as performance anxiety! In fact, there’s no
such thing as test, homework, sports, business or even
appearance anxiety, and thinking there is causes big
problems! All these things are really ‘outcome anxiety’
and it comes from being unsure-of-coming-out-okay.” She
adds, “Parents and kids tackle anxiety by trying to get
rid of fear, but the real solution is to build core
strength, and once you know how, fear melts away
automatically.” Mariann Adams has done extensive
research on the psychological, physiological,
neurological, and interpersonal aspects of anxiety
elimination. She is the author of “Boost Core Power and
Bust Anxiety” and “The Core Power Pro-Launch Pad.”

7. ==> Should You Consider Homeschooling?
Whether you don’t like your school system, can’t afford
a private a school or have a child with special needs,
homeschooling has become a viable option for many
families. But should you—and can you—do it? Discuss the
issue with Marywinn Lent, a grandmother who’s
homeschooled her children, grandchildren, and children
from her community for the past 30 years. She says many
parents rule out homeschooling because they think
they’re unqualified to teach their kids and worry their
children will wind up with an inferior education or
become social weirdos. But she says there are many
advantages to educating kids at home, “Homeschooling
helps children to either excel and move on to greater
heights of learning earlier or to be able to grasp
harder concepts without having to be left behind.”
She’ll discuss the range of homeschooling resources
available to parents today and explain why she thinks
children benefit from the experience. Contact Marywinn
Lent at lent11@windstream.net
8. ==> How the Wrong Breakfast Can Ruin Back-to-School
It’s Back-to-School time and you want your kids to do
well. But without even knowing it, you may be
sabotaging their success. Find out how by interviewing
Gillian Padgett. For example, she’ll explain how it’s
nearly impossible for kids to absorb information when
they don’t eat a nutritious breakfast—and that does not
include “chocolate frosted sugar bombs.” In addition to
interfering with their concentration, the wrong
breakfast foods can make children moody, tearful and
even aggressive. Gillian can also talk about how to get
your students to do their homework without nagging them
and how to limit the negative effects of social media.
She trained in the UK as a psychotherapist and
hypnotherapist and is the author of “Let Stress Heal
Your Life.” Reach her at (647) 270-7602;

9. ==> Is Gretchen Carlson Ruining Miss America?
Late long-time Miss America Chairman Al Marks often
said that Miss America is the “girl next door,” the
all-American young woman who becomes America’s
Sweetheart overnight. “Al would roll over in his grave
to see how the Miss America Pageant has become about
the agendas of one person in leadership, rather than
focusing on the building of women into leaders,” says
former Miss South Carolina Jane Jenkins Herlong.
“Sadly, (former Miss America and current Miss America
Chairwoman) Gretchen Carlson is using the very program
that helped launch her career to launch another agenda:
The #MeMeMeMeToo movement, which is about the agenda of
one person, rather than the good of many.” Jane is the
best-selling author of four books including Indie Book
Award-winning “Rhinestones on My Flip-Flops.” She is a
popular speaker who was inducted into the Speaker Hall
of Fame, and a gifted singer who has recorded music CDs
and humor/personal growth DVDs. Her comedy is featured
on Sirius XM 97. Contact her at
janejenkinsherlong@gmail.com or (803) 480-1190.
10. ==> What Was It Like to Date a Real-Life James
Bond?
John thought he was 007. When Patti Houtz started to
date him, he worked undercover for the DEA in Miami.
Those dates turned into incredible adventures—and
danger soon followed. Patti can talk about her
escapades with John and the unbelievable criminals she
met. Carrying a large 9mm handgun was routine and while
other couples went to the movies, Patti and John were
actually living their own movie, just like in Tom
Cruise’s new flick, “American Made.” The duo got
involved in everything from busting drug dealers to
searching for the Sasquatch. Patti has sensational
stories to share of the time she risked her life for
love; the stories are contained in her new memoir “Solo
by Choice.” Reach Patti at (775) 376-1676;

11. ==> This M.D. Tells How Conventional Medicine Has
to Change
Practitioners of Eastern medicine have long known that
there is a strong connection between our emotions and
our physical health, or lack thereof. However, most
Western medical professionals often ignore the whole
person when treating disease. According to Steven M.
Hall, M.D., this is a huge mistake. “Western doctors
are trained to treat disease,” he says. “So they treat
people as mechanical objects. Mind and body are not
separate but are integrated units, and both must be
considered when seeking the causes and cures for
disease.” Although trained in conventional Western
medicine, Dr. Steve began including alternative
treatments into his practice to achieve the next level
of healing to treat the causes as well of symptoms of
disease, with dramatic results. He explores this and
other insights into health care in his book “The 7
Tools of Healing: Unlock Your Inner Wisdom and Live the
Life Your Soul Desires.” Contact him at (425) 531-3684.
12. ==> Sept. 4th Is Anniv. of Joan Rivers’ Death – Do
a Show on Medical Errors
Joan Rivers died Sept. 4, 2014, at age 81. The
comedian’s death came days after undergoing a routine
procedure in Manhattan. Her death stunned the world…
but unfortunately, it’s not all that uncommon for
people to die needlessly during routine procedures in
surgicenters across the US. Why do medical errors
leading to deaths continue to rise in this country?
Interview Dr. Ira Williams who will tell you why paying
for health care isn’t the real problem… it’s the
delivery system that’s broken! At 85 years young, Dr.
Ira Williams has been hounding the five Federal
Agencies created to solve the health care crisis in
this country for decades. With over 130 years
collectively between those agencies our health care
system is still a mess. Dr. Ira Williams is an author,
an experienced surgeon, medical malpractice expert
witness and an expert in how to improve our healthcare
delivery system. His latest book is “Healthcare
Warriors, Why and How to Become One.” Contact him at

13. ==> How Being Disorganized Can Endanger Your Life
We have all heard how you can save money, time,
property and possessions by being more organized. But
wise vs. lackluster organization habits can even extend
your life! That’s the message of RN/APRN (nurse
practitioner) and author Anne McAwley-LeDuc, who is
creating a new movement for maintaining personal health
history — a life-saving practice! With the release of
her critically acclaimed workbook “Personal Health
Organizer: Record Your Medical and Dental History,
Birth Through Life,” Anne is helping people keep their
health records, including: medical conditions,
surgeries, childhood health history, orthopedic
history, immunizations, allergies, dental procedures
and much more. After all, it’s so easy to forget key
health facts, to your peril, especially with our busy
lives that often involve travel, moving, and
establishing relationships with new
doctors/clinics/hospitals. Invite Anne to discuss her
strategies for staying “in the know” about your health
journey. Contact her at (860) 642-1786;

14. ==> His Wife Beat Cancer by Avoiding Sugar
When Anthony Randle’s wife Jessica was diagnosed with
stage four breast cancer, her doctors told her she
could eat whatever she wanted while undergoing
aggressive treatments. But after having a poignant
dream about his late grandmother who was a gifted
energy healer, Anthony began doing his own research and
discovered some shocking facts. “I learned that sugar
actually feeds cancer,” he says. After elimination
sugar from her diet, Jessica sailed through chemo with
virtually no side effects. “After every treatment, I
wanted her to relax and nap,” he says. “But she would
have so much energy that we would go play tennis. The
ball would rush past me!” He shares his poignant
experiences in his acclaimed book “The True Story of a
Husband, A Best Friend and Care Giver: The Struggle
Within,” and can reveal how he and his wife made it
through this traumatic experience healthier and happier
than ever. Contact him at arandle1076@ gmail.com or
(702) 533-6667.
15. ==> Is Your Nail Salon Tech a Victim of Human
Trafficking?
Most people know about human trafficking as it applies
to prostitution. But not all victims of this epidemic
human rights abuse are forced to be sex workers, and a
lot of them are already in this country. “They could be
a nail salon worker who is an undocumented immigrant
from Queens, a construction worker or someone who was
trafficked to be a nanny,” says Raleigh Sadler, a
Christian reverend and founder and executive director
of the New York-based non-profit Let My People Go.
“Traffickers do not care about your immigration status;
they exploit vulnerable people.” Raleigh founded the
group in 2013 to combat global human rights injustices.
He can discuss how this epidemic affects society at
every level, and what we can all do to help stem the
tide of oppression. He is the author of the upcoming
book “Vulnerable: Rethinking Human Trafficking.”

16. ==> Are You Making Yourself Broke?
When you’re broke it’s easy to blame your low-paying
job and endless bills, but are those the real causes of
your empty bank account? Could the reason you’re broke
actually be your own fault? Invite Arnoux Goran,
author, speaker, and the world’s #1 expert in personal
transformation to reveal the truth behind why you’re
broke and how to start making money and live a happier
life. His successful method to reprogram yourself has
been studied by the University of California, Irvine,
and shown dramatic results. His forthcoming book, “The
Answer: How to Change Your Life and Make Your Dreams
Come True”, reveals how to release negative emotions
permanently and truly change your life by addressing
the cause of repeating patterns. Goran has been
featured on radio and television. Contact him at (877)

17. ==> Become a Better Leader by Sitting on the Toilet
Comedian and life coach Jen Coken thinks a lot of
business advice is too dry so she’s lightening things
up. The author of “Embrace the Ridiculousness of Life:
A Pocket Guide to Being a Better You” will explain how
listeners can “let go” while they are, actually, ahem,
letting go. She’ll dispense 12 easily digestible
lessons leaders can quickly apply to their lives. In
other words, the type of reading that one might do in
the bathroom while “taking care of business.” As Coken
likes to say, “We all need seven to eight hours of
delicious sleep and a good morning poop to be right for
the day. This 70-page book can be read in one single
flush; it will give you a new ability to manage your
staff, ask for a raise or go to work with a new
attitude.” She’ll discuss setting goals, avoiding burn-
out and how to get out of tough conversations among
other issues. Jen Coken has coached more than 10,000
clients over the past 20 years. Contact her at (303)

18. ==> Music to the Ears of People Who Hate Time
Management
Most people’s workdays are filled with chaos. They wish
they could get more done, but interruptions and their
own disorganization get in the way. Executive coach and
business mentor Jonathan Denn will lay out a unique
approach for accomplishing more that uses music as a
metaphor. He’ll explain how to divide the day into
“sessions” or “sets” the way a musician would. He’ll
offer quick productivity tips and discuss how to find
two hours of additional free time in each day and how
to use jam sessions to have better face-to-face
meetings, phone calls or create more effective emails.
Jonathan Denn spent several decades as a hotel chain
CEO, business coach, leadership development trainer and
mentor. His articles often appear in Forbes and
Fortune. His book is “Drumbeat Business Productivity
Playbook: How to BEAT Goals and Disorganization.”

19. ==> Is He Crazy to Predict Jerusalem’s Destruction?
Jerusalem is a holy city for Christians, Moslems, and
Jews, all of whom depend on its existence. But,
according to Bible scholar Richard Ruhling, M.D., the
city is in imminent danger. As the author of the new
bestselling book “The Destruction of Jerusalem,” he
will lay out three reasons why Jerusalem’s very
existence is now imperiled—a topic that is timely
because yesterday marked the Historic Jewish Day of
Calamity commemorating when the second Jewish temple
burned in 70 AD. When events in the news confirm that
Dr. Ruhling is right, please contact him to schedule an
interview. He’s an experienced talk show guest. Reach
him at (928) 583-7543; Ruhling7@juno.com
20. ==> How to Stay Married for Life
Half of all marriages in Western society end in
divorce. So how have pastor and Christian marriage
counselor Rev. George Sukhdeo and his wife, Shirley,
managed to remain happily married for 46 years? “We
have experienced almost every challenge couples face in
a marriage,” he says. “A marriage with Christ at its
center is much more than having someone to do the
dishes after dinner, take care of you when you’re sick,
or help you make the car payment every month.” Rev.
George is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal
Assemblies of Canada. He received a Master of Ministry
in Christian Counseling degree and a B.A. in theology
from Christian Bible College of Rocky Mount, N.C. He
has 34 years of experience in Christian ministries as a
pastor, Christian counselor and life coach, and has
counseled more than 500 couples, with an 85 percent
success rate. He is the author of the book “Preparing
for and Fostering Harmony in Marriage.” Contact him at
